SECURITY
Security should be considered medium on a city scale with most citizens fully capable of providing personal security. Only the council building, starport, and MandalTech have internal security systems and armaments.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Canderous City was built on the site of the ruined sith colony set up by the Kainite contingent of the Sith Order. The city was primarily evacuated of sith order citizens under the very real and present danger of the Clan Alor Jasper Ordo's treat to eradicate the city if they didn't disperse off world. Many even among the clan viewed the threat as barbaric and no better than a sith tactic and the clan Alor relented and gave ample time for the citizens to relocate. Clan assets and citizens slowly began rebuilding the city and repopulating it. The city quickly began to grow after MandalTech became involved and offered completely free aid to clan members to build homes, businesses, and of course the Starport. Farms and ranches for food production were quickly established after residential construction was completed with a view of nearly complete self reliance as a goal. The clan Alor approved the choices of a primarily republic styled council to handle internal matters locally and only becomes involved when external issues arise.
Farms primarily produce grains, fruits, and vegetables while ranches produce dairy and meat products to account for the variety of species dietary needs with very little food exports and nearly zero food imports required. The city due to the hugely arid environment of the majority of the planet also was required to build and staff vast moisture farms for the purpose of running water for citizens and the irrigation of the various farms. The city is not as outwardly advanced as many in the galaxy due to the Mandalorian tendencies toward stubbornness and the desire to do most task by hand in "the old way", but still has many standard luxuries common throughout the outer rim systems.

- Description: Sitting locked in the glorious green belt of the planet near the equatorial zone, Canderous City was recently founded on the site of a disbanded sith colony. The vast majority of the previous city was torn down and repurposed for the rebuilding of the star port and various residential buildings. The buildings that were reconstructed were built in the Mandalorian Yaim style with domed shapes and the majority of the structure being underground. This served to reduce energy consumption for cooling and heating as well as providing extra security from airborne threats. The green belt is also a source of heavily endorsed agriculture due to the steadiness of the seasons. The outskirts of the city have been built with large moisture farms that are fed directly into the irrigation systems of the farms and ranches for the purpose of creating a nearly constant growing season for most crops which leaves the city as nearly completely self reliant. Imports tend to only be luxury items and technology that can't be found on planet.
- POINTS OF INTERES:
- Canderous Starport: A large domed structure with several control towers. The port boast three large external landing pads for large ships up to 1000m and 100 internal hangers that can support 1 bulk freighter each. The port is heavily armed with ion cannons and electromagnetic pulse systems in the event of dire need but otherwise relies on Clan Protectors for security.
- City council building: A domed structure that holds the majority of the necessary infrastructure and planning departments of the city. Permits and request for building or requisitions for a vast majority of internal needs are handled here and staffed primarily by droids designed to aid in day to day activities. The council meets here monthly to discuss the needs and concerns of the people and is comprised of the heads of the local branch families with occasional attendance of the clan Alor when needs expand beyond local internal abilities to handle directly.
- MandalTech branch: This is a branch of the R&D department of MandalTech and works exclusively with providing Mandalorians with security and helps develop technologies to aid the planetary citizens in their daily lives but is the second most highly secure site in the city and serves as a bunker for citizens in the event of the need to secure noncombatants during disasters.
