Archduke of Stalgasin Hive

POPULATION
Taking into account the history of Geonosis and merging EU + Canon lore, Geonosis was nearly destroyed by the Empire in terms of population cleansing. However, centures of recovery followed - before the Geonosians were occupied several times as of recently. Combined with scourging attacks and constant abandonment, the Geonosian hives descended into civil war. Currently Stalgasin's nominal position as the ruling hive of the planet is placed in jeopardy, and it will take time to reunify Geonosis, and restore it to its former glories... However, owing to the prior history of Geonosis' occupation as the capital of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and with the immigration flow of other species, as well as the Mandalorian occupation of Geonosis, led to instability and tensions. The Geonosians, of course, underwent an ideological split, with the pro-outsider hives being damaged severely such as Golbah, with Gehenbar Hive becoming an anti-sentient party, and the Stalgasin Hive wanting to maintain strong ties with its trade partners. - Intent: While a canonical planet, the intention is to not only create a server-friendly lore for Geonosis, but also to introduce plot points as well as roleplay threads that the community as a whole can engage in.

- Immigrated Species: N/A.
- Population: Crowded, around two hundred billion.
- Demographics: 95% Geonosian, with five percent of it being imported gladiators for the arenas or immigrants to Golbah City.
- Primary Languages: Geonosian, rarely Basic (Geonosian Aristocracy)
- Culture: Standard Geonosian culture, though one thing of note is that while Queens exist and are considered part of the Aristocratic caste, the Geonosian hive mind, due to the prior annihilation by the Empire of a majority of Geonosians, has resulted in it becoming severely diluted. Some Geonosians no longer have a hive mind or telepathy (as per canon), but Queens do exist, if not the sole provider of Geonosian reproduction now. (Basically mixing Geonosian EU lore with canon lore and doing the best thing to make sure it's within reason).
- Government: Ruling Aristocracy caste which governs via a series of hive councils. Currently Archduke Ukvax is the nominal leader, but the planet is in civil turmoil.
- Affiliation: Independent.
- Wealth: Originally it was high, but as of current it is low - this is in large part due to depletion of wealth from prior governments as well as general decline.
- Stability: Low. There are currently multiple civil wars breaking out on the planet, primarily between the Stalgasin hive and its allies, as well as the Gehenbar Hive and its allies. In addition, Golbah Hive, Trippa Hive, amongst others, are either neutral or descending into anarchy. The only "safe zone" (tenuously) is most of Stalgasin Hive.
- Freedom & Oppression: Geonosian oppression is very well-noted - drones die in labor accidents all of the time.
- Military: Rather strong, all things considered - even in crisis, Geonosis is a tough nut to crack militarily.
- Technology: General Geonosian technological advancements, though it is worth noting that as of current, Geonosis is in crisis. Geonosian Industries is also present.
