canon or fanmade Planets

So for my rp character do i have to pick the canon source for planets or can i make a new one with some originality ?

You can create a planet via the Planet section of the Codex if you so desire....or use any canon planet. You can also use any of the already approved planets for a home planet for your character. It's truly up to you really.
