Mandalore

Clan raxis resident

Tines come and go...when bad times arrive ita a sign of new and good times to come most of the time that is. In the place where clan raxis was put for their time on mandalore Stardust was busy moving around...sure it wasn't home home but it was home for now and in all truth she kinda liked the scenery and some of the people were very nice.

Now back to Stardust what was she doing? Why preparing for a family get together of clan raxis, she was making meals setting things up such as tables, the drink table, seats, and food. She gave a huff as she rubbed her forehead as she smiled, it all looked get and fresh...now she hoped people would arrive

Raxis names I may of forgot

Stardust invited me!

He was confused, family that he hadn't spoken too for a long time randomly inviting him somewhere was unheard of. He slowly guided the Ebon Hawk down onto Mandalore, clearly not belonging. He wasn't a Mandalorian, plus his ship probably wasn't going to make any friends. Revan and the Mandalorians hadn't gotten on well, and the Ebon Hawk belonged to Revan himself so. He wasn't going to make any friends, he was sure of it.

He stepped from the ship slowly, the boarding ramp of the Ebon Hawk only just hitting the floor before him. He was interested, he hadn't heard anything from any of the Raxis family in months, he was interested on why they were on Mandalore, the Raxis family were smugglers, not warriors. Mandalorians were warriors, born and bred. Kei was overly confused, but he wasn't going to question. He'd been out of the loop a while.

Yeah, that was it.

Slowly, he walked up the address he'd been given. The door was slightly open, and Kei pushed it fully open, ducking inside. He was interested, he was confused but interested, and he thought carefully as he lent against the wall, mind thinking about Noriko. Yes he missed her, but hey, family first. Right?

"Well, someone's done well for themselves"

Blood. It rolled down James' hands, dripping onto the metal flooring. The man sobbing before the spacer was a mess of battered bones and open, bleeding wounds. Tears rolled down his face as he tried to stifle the sobs in his throat. James gazed at him coldly, cruelly. There was no mercy in him for this man. He had committed many crimes. Some, adamantly in the name of James Justice. But he fethed up when he started prowling on the women of Soceras. You messed with James' people, you messed with his family--you begged for mercy from the gods. Because James had none to give.

"P-p-p-p--please," the man gasped between his sobs, "J--j--just kill me. Please, please, I c-c-c--can't take any more."

"Did they beg for death too?" James hissed from between his clenched teeth, 'Did ye show them the mercy of death?" His fist wrapped around the man's throat and hoisted him into the air. Purple tendrils of darkside energy cascaded from James' hand, enveloping the man's body. It convulsed in torment as he felt his life being sucked from his body. His eyes widened, his mouth held open agape. The pain would be even more intense than the physical beating he had been sustaining.

James savored the feeling as the life flooded his veins, each ounce ripped from the man's body and into his own, "Did you show them mercy? Did you think you would get away from your crimes this easily? Did I not warn you about the price of hurting my people? No one frells with my family. No. One."

He dropped the man's body on the ground, it had been tapped all but to death. And to be sure, James was not done with him, there were many more siphonings to go. Many more sessions of torture to be had--and when he was done, if the man was lucky, he would be killed. Otherwise, he would be handed over to Thraxis for the rest of his life.

"Sir," One of the officers said on James' comm, 'We are exiting Hyperspace."

'Good," James said, turning form the heap of weeping flesh on the floor, 'Clean this shit up, lock it away so no one will find it while we are on planet.'

"Yes, sir, very good, sir."

He stalked out, he had a family get-together to get to.

She should remind people that she wasn't familiar with to not sneak up on her...years of being in war left it so she didn't quite like that unless she knew you well

So when [member="Kei Garnik"] snuck in and spoke suddenly she has blurred reaching for her blade nearby and unsheathed it she had it pointing at him before she relaxed and gave a curse"you fething idiot do not sneak up on people like that be glad I didn't just stab ya"

She went back to work slowly relaxing"so who are you excatly, we may of met lots been goimg on don't remember you"she said

[member="James Justice"]

He studied the lightsaber slowly, a smug grin on his face. She probably would of stabbed him, he wasn't doubting her. He smiled again, enjoying the thrill of dancing with death. There was always something fun about being close to the end, even if he would be leaving those he cared about. He'd been close to death a few times, but he'd never died, not yet. He wasn't ready to die, he was only going out when he was ready.

"Did no-one tell you it's not nice to call family fething idiots?"

He crossed his arms, leaning against the wall. He needed to keep Stardust happy so he could figure out why there was a bounty on the head of his cousin. He offered a chuckle, laughing, unarmed himself. He'd left his weapons on the Ebon Hawk, figuring the odds of a family gathering turning into a shoot out was low.

"Name's Kei, Kei Raxis. Don't wear it out dearie, I still got people to meet"

He laughed, smiling.

"The hell is the Raxis family doing on Mandalore? Last I heard we were smugglers"

The Angel's Glory landed on the surface of Mandalore without much addo. James was sure they could see who it was registered to, and all that lot, but he was Raxis, and if they wanted to raise more hell about Roche, well they could buy a Delorean, cause they loved bringing up the past. The corvette landed and James strut out onto the fields of their new home. Well, not his home, because his home would always be Soceras, but it was Raxis homestead. As he came closer, the spacer carefully boxed what he had just done away. He was getting good at that. He was living two lives for a long time; one of pure hedonism, and another of increasingly low destruction.

The spacer had cleaned up briefly, donned his trademark leather jacket, cleared off the blood, and was just himself. Was he armed? Of course, he wore a blaster same as he wore pants. He found his way to the front door just in time to hear,

Kei Garnik said:
"Did no-one tell you it's not nice to call family fething idiots?"
James slapped Kei on the shoulder with a hearty laugh, 'Mate, that just means she likes ye, she's getting ye warmed up."

He looked at Star's blade and gave a mock scolding, 'What did I tell ye 'bout drawin' 'fore I come in? It ain't right to get the head start and cheat on me like that."

He gave Kei a solemn look, "Never believe what ye hear. I've been across the galaxy more time than I can count, but dun't ye ever believe what ye hear especially when it comes to family. Now, enough talk, where be the booze, star?"

She had sheathed the sword when james walked in and sat it down as she picked a bowl up and put it on a table"kei how long have you been out of the loop? Clan raxis was recalled to mandalore to relearn the way of the Mandalorians again, for the manda'lore believes we lost our way after...jack.."she trailed off he did not deserve the last name raxis "after jack betrayed us all by attacking the manda'lore then came to us say8ng he's going to war...after speaking bloody long...SO BLOODY LOMG WITHOUT CONTACT THEN SHOWS UP CALLS US AND DECLARES WAR"she said a she clenched her fist the dark side bubbling up visibly before she pushed it down and cooled off" if you've not been in the loop jack has betrayed us, the clans, and manda'lore....and cost my husband his hand...

She didn't answer james more less go to a table filled with drinks and pick up a whiskey and took a drink sighing "sorry kei I shouldn't of yelled just recently it's been stressful
[member="James Justice"][member="Kei Garnik"]

"I was in the unknown regions! What!"

He sigh lightly, fingers running through his hair. He didn't even know there was a Clan Raxis, and what he'd heard about Jack. That wasn't the Jack he knew. Jack didn't betray people for nothing, Jack wasn't one to stab people, but what James had said made him think. He hadn't seen this lot for ages, he didn't know what'd happened.

"So, that explains why I keep seeing bounties on Jack, huh"

[member="Stardust Raxis"]
[member="James Justice"]

Yea, he karked up immensely, he attack then went to call us to war and when we said no he ran off left my husband to face the wrath of the clans"she said obviously pissed at the man she had called a good friend and family"

She took another drink"now you gotta choose kid"who are you gpong to side on us...or the traitor"she said and gave a sad look"I rather not hurt any more family, I'm goimg to have to already
[member="Kei Garnik"]

Kei shook his head, running his hands through his hair again. He hated ultimatums, they made him cringe inside. He hated choices, he liked having a single choice and running with it, it made tasks like this so much easier. He cracked his knuckles, grabbing a drink from the table, sighing. Jack had karked up, there was no way of making that sound pretty. Everyone deserved a second chance though, right? Right?

Right?

"I really can't be bothered to make choices. Just let me talk to him and try and sort him out, please"

[member="Stardust Raxis"]
[member="James Justice"]

NO!

she yelled as she gripped her glass causing it to shatter and throw pieces onto the cybernetic limb as she looked to him with a fury of a dragon lookimg amongst someone who'd just told them their treasure was worthless

The time for words is over HE made his choice when he attacked the manda'lore, when HE disregarded his family and left his own cousin and family to the wolves

By bow her haND was actually on fire as she looked to him, it was obvious she was relaxing anger she had kept in so feel the trial of gray raxis

She looked to him with a cold look"I will warn you, I will warn you this once and you listen to these words Kei and you consider them hard"she said as she took a breath in"you go and talk to him, then you become my target then as well, I will bring you into the manda'lore along side him, but Kei, if you go and talk to him I want you to stall him, I want you to do whatever you can"she said and walked away before coming back with a comm ear piece " Kei I know it's hard probably but I will leave the choice to you, you can either support and face trial by him, or when I contact you, you can help me

With that she took his hand and placed the comm there "now then eat I made all this food for nothing if we don't eat
[member="Kei Garnik"]

Kei stared dead at Stardust, a look of pure anger on his face. She wasn't his carer, she didn't make his choices. He had a right to do what he wanted, he was Kei Raxis, a free man. He wasn't a slave, he wasn't someone who could just be controlled. His knuckles turned white as he closed his fist, reaching for his blaster, realizing he didn't have it. He chose the worst time to be unarmed, especially when someone was threatening him.

"I warn you once. Don't try and play games with me. I'll stand trial with my family any day, i'll sit there and i'll take whatever punishment is coming to me. You don't get a choice in that Stardust!"

He was shaking, anger flowing through his body as the glass in his hand fell to the floor, shattering. Two glasses in one night, the Raxis family knew how to party.

"I'll warn you now. If you try and stop me I will put a bullet in your brain"

He turned, starting for the door.

"I'm out, I came here expecting food, not to be told that I can't help family anymore. Stardust, I don't care what Jack did. He's family, and I'd do the same for you as I'm doing for him"

And with that, with one final glare of anger at Stardust, he left the home, heading back for his ship.

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

Damnit her anger had caused her to go off, she had kept it in for so lomg that she had just blown up

She looked down at him as she noticed the anger on her face, yea...she spoke those words based in her feelings, she looked as his hands reach down and put a hand on her sword handle, it was instinctive to do so especially in a area like this where it was cramped

Kei I'm trying to.make sure you don't suffer at all or worse"she said as she started to calm her sled diwn some...or attempt to at least

She watched the glass fall as she closed her eyes feeling bits hit her feet as she gripped the handle yet did not draw, crazy how objects symbolized stuff, the glass breaking was the relationship of cousins just being destroyed

Don't say that Kei come on don't say THAT "

She stood still as she listended she relaxed the handle and exhaled steam as she let a tear fall, she let him get a distance and followed him slowly and called out"Kei! Hold on now "she said said as she started in a light jog

[member="Kei Garnik"]

It was too late, Kei knew that. Stardust had made her choice, she'd chosen the clans over family. Blood used to mean something, these days it meant nothing. He ignored her constantly, angry and annoyed that'd she'd chosen her path. Jack was family, and yeah, Jack had made a mistake and Kei was going to get to the bottom of it, but ordering him killed wasn't worth it, it wasn't helpful to anyone, not at all.

He stepped up the boarding ramp of the Hawk, staring at Stardust.

"What Star!? What!?"

[member="Stardust Raxis"]

She stopped at the bottom of the ramp as she looked up.to him, her feelings and the stress of the trial had just caught up and caused her to lash out at him, she hadn't meant to at all She didn't mean to go off on him

I..I'm sorry"she said with a heavy sigh"just this week's been stressful, I had no right to go and demand anything from you"she said as she looked down"would you care to stay at least a little, I know I just blew up....but I don't wanna drive any more away...i...please
[member="Kei Garnik"]

He shook his head, maybe a little sadly. He was glad he had such a good family, but he couldn't condone what they were going to do, what they had already done. [member="Jack Raxis"] was a traitor and a roach, but roaches didn't deserve to die. Kei was probably going to beat the living pudding out of his cousin, in some ways he deserved it, but not kill him. Jack wasn't facing the clans, Kei'd heard stories of the Mandalorians.

They were violent little creatures, and Stardust was siding with them.

He shook his head again.

"Not this time Star. I'm not gonna condone Jack's actions, hell if I get the chance i'll mail you a hand or something, but I'm not about to let him stand trial in front of the Mandolorians. He doesn't deserve to die Stardust, he's a roach, truthfully he's a little roach."

Kei let out a light sigh, his fingers dancing in his pockets.

"But that roach is family. I'm not standing around while my family tears itself apart. I'm going to sort this, once and for all. If you get in my way, I'll try and be polite about it at least."

He watched Stardust slowly, gulping.

"Tell Gray I said hey"

And with that, the ramp closed, cutting the two off from each other. Kei slumped into a corner, tears running lightly down his face. He wasn't down for this, even T3 let out a sad beep. Kei grunted, shaking his head, still unable to form words. He stared at T3 sadly, fingers wrapping around a small screw on the floor. He threw it against the wall, almost satisfied with the sad little noise it made as it collided.

"T3, set course for the Nar Shaddar system"

Kei pushed himself to his feet, still trying to compose himself. He hated this, he hated everything about this. No-one deserved this, Kei hated getting involved in things. Things were family though, and family was always important, family was always closest to heart. Even if he never showed it, family was closest to heart.

"Contact Jack Raxis, get Noriko on the other line. It's time."
