Cantina Conundrum (Open) (No fighting)

Rianna sat at the bar in the nightclub in lower coruscant. She was relaxing after a long week and hoped to meet some new people. Leaning back in her chair, she ordered a blue whiskey.

Davik walked into the small time cantina in the lower city and took a seat in one of the booths with a sigh. He had just gotten back from a rather exciting twenty four hour bout of problematic interstellar travel, and now he hoped to lay back and enjoy the atmosphere of the establishment. The spacer did not pay much attention to many of the other patrons, however, a young Arkanian looking girl caught his eye for a moment.

Rianna saw a man look at her for a minute and she smiled. She took a long drink of her blue whiskey and closed her eyes, enjoying the taste. She could finally relax.

Korin entered cantina, a slight hitch In his step slowing his forward motion. He had been lazy in his planning of the job yesterday, and got off easy with a three story fall and a poor disposition. He had entered at the heels of a young man, but diverted course to find a seat at another end of the bar. He waved over a bartender, readjusting his coat over her shoulders.

Davik ordered himself the Corellian Ale that he came to enjoy as his favorite beverage and sipped at it casually enough, whilst looking at his datapad which was displaying multiple news reports from across the galaxy, simply something to pass the time. He noticed earlier how the girl had gave him a slight smile when he walked into the bar and so, going along with Coruscanti custom, Davik nodded at the bartender to refill her drink on his own tab. He certainly had the money to spare and he did not mind much.

Rianna was surprised when the bartender went over to her and started to refill her drink. She couldn't afford too many drinks, but before she could speak up the bartender said it was on the booth. She shot a smile at him and got up, walking over to his booth drink in hand

Davik did little to acknowledge the girl who began to approach his booth, though he knew she was approaching. No, the young spacer simply let another sip of the ale pass between his smirked lips. This was certainly turning into an interesting night at any rate.

Rianna sat across from the man, not bothering to ask if she could do so. "Hi, I'm Rianna" she said and smiled, as she held out a hand to be shaken. She drank some more blue whiskey as the two talked.

Davik looked up from his data pad and promptly shut off the program that it had been broadcasting. The girl looked to be in her late teens, as far as the smuggler could tell in his weary state, and the spacer was quite surprised she had been so direct. But, with a friendly smile back, he greeted her. "Davik. Davik Tren. I hope you don't mind the free booze."

"Oh, I never mind free booze" she said, smirking. "I need em anyways, It helps with.. forgetting some stuff." She smiled and finished her glass, gently setting it on the table

"Why else do people come here, save to hide and forget." Davik gave the girl a sarcastic smile as he finished off the last of his own drink and signaled for two more to be brought over in a minute or two. "You on Coruscant often?"

"Well yeah, I'm here a decent amount. But usually I'm just around." She smiled and took her new drink, sipping it and enjoying the taste. Why some girls didn't like whiskey, she didn't know.

"Always nice to meet another drifter... I am going to be here for a few nights myself." Davik did not know what he was dealing with here to be quite frank, the girl could be a potential assassin or even another hunter, though she certainly did not seem the type. That being said, it could be a bit of trouble analyzing a girl who he knew nothing about... "So... You're trying to forget something?.."

Rianna sighed and said, "Yeah I am, but I don't wanna talk about it. Thus the forgetting part." She leaned in closer to him, studying his features. "So what brings you here?" [member="Davik Tren"]

As the girl leaned in and placed her elbows on the table, Davik fiddled with a credit chip in his hands. Why was he here? It had just been some run of the mill cantina that looked appealing, however, the place now seemed much better with an appealing new face. "Just got back from Bonadan... Thought I'd have a few drinks before I went back to the mid-levels."

"Bonadan... I'm not sure where that exactly is." She took another long drink. "I was doing a spice run and got thirsty, so... I'm here." That was part of the reason, at least. The rest of the reason was to forget some things. "I feel like a mooch, drinking on your tab. Can I buy the next round?" She couldn't afford it but whatever. She was a nice girl.

"Bonadan is a nice planet, if you've got the right contacts..." Davik smiled jokingly as he was pretending to hold power in high up places, when in reality his mission to the system was simply to bring some spice to a CEO at one of the planets many industrial complexes. "I would never ask a pretty girl to buy a round, but if you're buying..." The human smiled and shrugged after placing the credit chip back in his pocket. "You're on a spice run? You got a ship then..? Got myself a nice YTA-1300, finest ride from the CEC, and best damn engines in the sector." Davik was exaggerating of course, though it was undeniable that his ship was faster than most, even outran a Republic Blockade Runner once.

Rusty started awake and rubbed the sleep away from his eyes. His right hand darted to make sure his blaster was still safely holstered, while his left hand rushed to a pocket in his belt where he kept his spare credit chips. 'Still there' Rusty thought as he slid his hands back onto the table. Apparently not much had changed since he dosed off. Rusty signaled a passing waiter droid, "Another Starshine Surprise please, and make it a 'Sunburn'." Rusty watched as the droid scurried off with his order. From his corner booth Rusty had a good line of sight on both the entrance and the bar, an ideal seat indeed, for a man in his line of work. Rusty scanned the bar and gave each occupant a brief once over, no one stood out. Rusty leaned back with a sigh and sipped his 'Sunburn', took a swallow, and savored the burn. 'Not as good as they make 'em on out in the rim worlds, but hey, cheap booze is cheap booze.' Rusty thought, raising his glass for a second sip.
That was when he saw him.
Rusty grabbed his drink and rose from his booth, strode over to the bar, slid onto the stool next to his friend, and clapped him on the back. "Korin Undoli! Of all the cantinas on this rock you strolled into mine! What're the odds?" Rusty said with a warm laugh. "How are you, friend? How's buisiness?"

Korin was staring at a long empty glass when his concentration was shattered by a sharp blow between his shoulders. The impact knocked him forward, causing him no small amount of discomfort, as did the rousing declaration of his presence to the entire room.

He brought his index and middle finger to his face, briefly pinching the bridge of his nose, fighting back an instinctual annoyance at the noise in his ear. With his other hand he lifted his empty glass, "Hey Robb... It's been a while, business is fine."

He could never understand the dramatic change his friend undertook after a few shots. The normally reserved Robb Killian found his confidence and voice, almost becoming a whole new person, entirely. Sighing at his empty glass, he placed it back down on the bar, waving a server droid over.

"Ne'tra Gal... please." He was going to need another drink, fast.

Rusty shook his head in disbelief. Not many people knew (or remembered) his real name, but he supposed Korin knew him well enough to have picked it up somewhere. "Still drinking the black ale eh? Mandalorian swill if you ask me, friend." Rusty said, setting his own class down on the bar before him. "If you insist on drinking a Mando's brew you could at least do it right. What you need is a nice shot of Kri'gee, or maybe some Narcolethe, that should relax you some."
Rusty made to ask the bartender for a round of Kri'gee, but the look on Korin's face told him to lower his hand right quick. Rusty had seen that look before, and it was far from a friendly one. "I suppose a man can drink what he wants...it's a free galaxy after all."
Rusty turned back to his 'Sunburn' and took a swig, feeling more than a little sobered by the experience, despite the fire in his gut. Rusty knew he could get carried away when the spirits got to him, and decided to make amends. "At any rate, what's a 'RLS' man like you doing on Coruscant? Not getting nostalgic in your old age I hope?"
