Role: Elder Ship Captain of the KSF Mauriacus
Links: Uncommon Complications
Age: 73
Force Sensitivity: Force Sensitive/Untrained (And Not Known)
Species: Human
Appearance: Gregory is never seen out of his uniform in public. In fact, he rarely ever goes into public. His age and his scars show brightly and obvious, signalling the constant battles he's been through; physical and mental.
Name: Captain Gregory
Loyalties: Kuat Drive Yards, Kuat Sector Forces
Wealth: His accumulated wealth may be upwards of a hundred thousand credits, but it is unknown what more and exactly how much he has. He never buys anything except supplies for his ship and crew.
Notable Possessions: Gregory believes he owns the ancient and old Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Mauriacus. There is no legal paperwork in existence anymore for the old ISD, but no one would dare try to take it from him. Still, the company helps to pay for its crew, supplies, repairs, and other amenities. In his Office holds small pieces of ships, whether they are antennas, dishes, levers, anything, from the ships he has destroyed. It is said he once had a home on Kuat, but he also had one on the original Kuat Drive Yards Orbital Array before it was destroyed. He has not left the ship since, overseeing the repairs needed for the vessel.
Skills: Weapons Training, Combat Training, Admirals Academy, Officer Training, Captain Experience, Amateur/Hobbyist Prisoner Torturer
Personality: Gregory is a silent man, and only speaks when it is absolutely needed. He is strong, determined, and is a feared man among Kuat Drive Yards. His crew are near similar. They have barely left his ship since the fall of the original Orbital Array, and seek vengeance for those that were lost in the battle. Gregory and his crew blame themselves for losing the fight, and seek redemption through revenge, or death. The ship is as cold as its crew and Captain, and recruits are hard to come by & keep. Gregory is a cruel, heartless man.
Weapon of Choice: KDY Military-issue blaster, starships
Combat Function: Gregory is known to have experience with all rifles and pistols, having to support his crew against boarding parties during the fall of the orbital array. He knows every function of his ship and can take control of any station in an emergency, functionally able to kill enemies with simple functions of his ship such as opening multiple doors into space, flooding a room with a toxic atmosphere, or slamming shut blast doors on bodies. The safety protocols have all but been removed from the ship.
Gregory's passed is not known to Ferron Troste nor to very many others. His documents and history were lost when the Offices that held that information were destroyed along with the original Orbital Array. But what is known, is haunting. Everyone knows he was a captain of the same Imperial SD that he serves on today, and he was on it during the fall of the Orbital Array. No matter what they did, no matter how many ships they knocked out, Gregory, his ship and crew, could not save everyone. Even while the ship was on its last legs, Gregory pushed his crew and ship beyond safe limits. Eventually it got so bad during the battle he started executing crewmen who wanted to abandon ships, and some of his officers even followed suite. The damage had become so extensive, on his mind, and to his ship, to this day neither have been able to repair. It was so bad, that meetings were held to try and strip Gregory of his rank for the things he did during the battle and his obvious insanity that plagued him. Not only that, but his ship was slated for salvage. Gregory would have none of that. With the remaining crew aboard, Gregory commanded that he either be allowed to stay, with his ship and crew, or leave, with his ship and crew. It was decided that Gregory was invaluable and his crew were so determined that they could be an asset no one could imagine a worth on, and do their best to make Gregory happy. These days he only does what is needed; request repair crews, purchase supplies, and oversee repairs.
