Millis Boward is a native of the Deep Core World of Byss, born to a pair of Imperial Loyalists. Growing up, he quickly embraced Imperialist ideals and was a strong supporter of Imperialist Doctrine on his homeworld. When the Core Imperial Confederation arrived at Byss, Boward was quick to enlist in it's Military as a Naval Officer serving as a Lieutenant. At some point, Boward caught the interest of the Core Imperial Confederation's Minister of Defense, a Chiss by the name of Shran who took him on as his attaché. After the collapse of the Core Imperial Confederation, Boward was promoted to Captain by Shran and given Command of his Flagship. Having already served Shran for a long time and developed a working relationship with the Chiss, Boward followed him as he shifted allegiances numerous times, from the Core Imperial Confederation to the Grayson Imperium, to the Zweihander Union and the Eternal Empire.
However due to his old age, Shran retired from the Eternal Imperial Military and headed for the Core Worlds to become a member of the Galactic Alliance's Senate. Left with little purpose, Boward stuck around with the Eternal Imperials before he was contacted by a man by the name of Director-Admiral Dorian Sevenar, whom Boward recognized as a former Core Imperial Admiral that worked closely with Shran in the aftermath of the Core Imperial Confederation's Collapse. Sevenar offered Boward to join the ranks of the Final Dawn, a Sith-backed Neo-Imperialist Junta that sought to restore Imperial Rule within the Core Worlds. Despite it's Sith Affiliation, Boward accepted Sevenar's offer considering Shran's retirement and became an Officer of the Final Dawn, eventually becoming a Captain within it's Navy, assigned to Shadow Hand Command, the personal armada of the then-Grand Overseer Marlon Sularen.
With years of experience having served various Imperial and Quasi-Imperial Regimes, Boward quickly developed a reputation within the Final Dawn Navy as an somewhat reckless but very aggressive commander who often employed bold unorthodox tactics against his enemies with a preference for a combination of superior firepower, overwhelming numbers and starfighter supremacy while also being notoriously harsh, shooting his own subordinates if they questioned his orders or failed him.
Regardless, his numerous feats throughout the Second Great Hyperspace War would eventually lead to Boward being granted command of the FDS Overlord, in addition to a Squadron of four Pellaeon-IV Pocket Battlecarrier, becoming both a trusted subordinate of High Regent Marlon Sularen as well as member of his Senior Staff within Shadow Hand Command, as he will soon play a key role in the future plans of the High Regent he strives to preserve the power of the Final Dawn and further strengthen it in preparation for it's emergence as a new Galactic Power.
