STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
Weaknesses
- Alcohol and spice addiction – During her rebellious teenage years, Cara was introduced to these vices and became addicted. While clean(ish) now, it’s a simple step to falling back into the addiction.
- Right Leg Prosthetic – Lost in the accident that killed her family, the risk to it form ion weapons or emp blasts leaves her constantly wary.
- Fear of Medical Care/Hospitals - When she went in to a hospital after a terrible speeder crash, they told her all would be fine. She questioned about her leg feeling such pain from it and from the brief glance down to it, she knew it had to be bad. The docs told her not to worry, they wouldn't need to take the leg.
When she awoke her leg was bandaged just above where the knee would have been a mere stump remained. Her body was not stable enough at that point to put in a new prosthetic so sadly she had to wake to it being gone and freaked out. Ever since then she cannot trust physicians, always fearful that she'll go into the hospital and come out missing another limb.
- Untrusting to an extreme – Having lost her family, and betrayed by her friends, Cara is scared to trust anyone in fear of being hurt again. This often leads her to being standoffish, even in business relations.
- A soft heart for those in trouble – Despite her harsh past, Cara continues to try and help people she sees are in need. More often than not this causes her to get taken advantage of.
Strengths
+ Ship Engineering - There isn't a ship out there save maybe Vong tech that she can't manage, handle, update/upgrade. On top of that she does her own custom designs within her company known as Sampson's Designs, a government funded company based within the Atrisian Empire.
+Piloting - With her skills with designing ships it only comes natural that she would be highly talented at piloting. Her father started teaching her at age six when she could barely reach anything from the co-pilot's seat.
+ Slicing - Something she self taught at young age and continued to do so much to the irritation of her family.
+ Picking Locks – Learned to do so she could steal money for spice.
Hobbies: (not officially here I know but I needed a place to put Cara's since they don't exactly work under strengths)
-Drawing - With her love for ships, the need to be able to hand render them was something she wanted to learn and over nearly a decade taught herself just that.
-Singing - It's one of the few outlets she has to deal with all the stresses she goes through in her life.
- Guitar - She began playing when she was eight.

Biography:
Cara was born to high society and pampered by her family, but she did not particularly enjoy the lifestyle. Despite the doting of her father she chose to revel against the life style, becoming very involved with computers. Only her age and social status kept her from being arrested when she was caught breaking into government sites.
This act prompted her parents to be harsher on their daughter, locking her away from the public eye. Except for dinner and special occasions she was limited to her room. Which was, admittedly, larger than the average house in its own right. Still, she saw this as imprisonment and when her friend introduced her to alcohol and spice she jumped in feet first. It did not take her long before she was breaking into her parents room to steal the credits for more, unable to control her addiction.
It was not until her family was in a horrific car accident that things changed. Her parents were killed instantly, and Cara safer in the back lost her leg. During her hospital stay she was forced to get passed her addiction, finding it impossible to feed either addiction under the watchful gaze of the medical droids and doctors.
When she got out she found her family’s fortune had been confiscated by the government. Homeless, jobless, and very much alone after her so called friends abandoned the now poor Cara, she did whatever she could to survive. Her slicing skills came in handy, but she often had run ins with the police.
Eventually she started making some real money, and began refitting old ships. When her skill was discovered the wealthy would hire her for her yachts, and at least one government paid her to design a fighter. When the Atrisian Empire learned of her skills, and that because of her criminal past no major company would hire her, they jumped at the chance desperately needing her talents. They offered her a sizable paycheck for her services, and put her in charge of her own research and development company within their ship building company.
