- Versatile Programming - Cardinal-series Androids can be programmed by their owners to preform any function, be it civilian or military, and can be considered one of the most versatile designs on the open market.
- Synthetic Blood - Instead of traditional oil, Cardinal-series Androids use a white synthetic liquid which serves as a form of blood for a cardiovascular system built around their mechanical durasteel skeletons. This "blood" helps keep their systems cool and also reduces power usage, enabling them to running for extended periods without recharge.

- Lack of Personality - Unlike a lot of droids, Cardinal units don't exactly have much of a personality. They speak monotonously and predictably dependent on their function. Their rubbery, unmoving faces are also uncannily creepy to some individuals.
- No Built-In Equipment - If programmed for combat functionality, Cardinal-series Androids do not possess weaponry as a standard, and as such must be outfitted with weapons and armor like an organic soldier. This is a similar concern for none-combat functions, as they also sport no built in tools.
Designed to provide the galaxy a versatile, multipurpose android at an affordable price, the Cardinal-series androids were designed by Darth Xyrah, otherwise known as Saryn Fitz-Kierke, who wanted an android capable of preforming any task or duty required to solve certain manpower issues the Sith Order had faced since the collapse of their empire.
Developed over the span of several months, the first Cardinal prototype proved to be a resounding success after testing proved it's adaptable humanoid design could serve just as adequately for any a role an organic worker or soldier could.
