- Accessibility: Surrounded by three gigantic volcanoes known only as "the Byt". These three hellish mountains cover ten percent of Ilmaren's planetary surface, endlessly spluttering tremendous amounts of burning lava and choking smoke from their mouths, earning this place's monicker as Ashkeep, as it quietly rests at the slopes of a vast canyon on Byt's largest volcano. Making passage from the west of being blocked by seas of lava and spiked peaks of obsidian, as the east falls protected by harsh mountains of unpredictable weather conditions. Its natives are well familiarised with calling the surrounding lands as Deadlands, for they say nothing good ever lived in this place, as one could easily perceive this fact as soon as setting foot on this place's entrance, where a barren wasteland of magma rivers, obsidian trees, churred fauna, ruined villages, and alpha predators lurk as unknown protectors of this keep's secrets. Long abandoned, this area is rarely visited by anyone, except for offworlders in search of its precious resources, found in plenty through all the region. Still, all in Ilmaren know how to reach this place, on one way or another, Carn Ravaryn lies as Ilmaren's most infamous place, wished by its inhabitants to remain forgotten.
- Description: Three notable constructions can be called to attention by all those that lived to tell the tale. As soon as it's reachable, the only entrance of this building grows to the eye, composing of an embersteel made road leading straight to the massive curtain permacrete wall constructed on top of an island of stone surrounded by one of the many streams of lava that flows through the Byt, accessible through a permacrete bridge only, for the Fiery Gate was made to guard its entrance that when passed it reveals a vast courtyard licked by the Byt's ashes, surrounded by the Fiery Gate's wall in all sides, where many doors can be found, leading to many areas of this part of the castle, but, only to the building that was constructed on top of this island and on its depths. For passing this imposing entrance, guests may notice two outstanding dark towers guarding another passage for the innermost valley inside the Byt's infernal shadow, these two dark towers were once called the Twins, each bearing their own unique name, as one is called Slave's End, and the other called Hope's Ruin, both were used to house countless slaves and soldiers in service of Ravaryn's past occupiers that took upon themselves to use these slave to hand carving the Sinuous Road that leads straight to the Ashkeep. A wavy path that leads the less fortunate to a long terrifying fall straight to its hell-ish death inside its inner sea of lava, where if not killed by the infernal flames inside its glowing waters, death may yet come to those by fireworm's jaws that took residence beneath its waves. With that in mind, the path goes on, all the way to Carn Ravaryn, where a massive eerie fortress lies to those brave enough to venture its secrets.

POINTS OF INTEREST
- The Fiery Gate - A massive construction done by its original owner, the Fiery Gates composes of a permacrete made three hundred and thirty-foot curtain wall surrounded by a river of lava, where many of its veins are relocated through its internal structure, pouring tongues of the magma liquid through its external view and most likely to be redirected to offensive means if necessary. This structure surrounds the entirety of the island on which it stands, where countless murder-holes, bailey's, barbicans, ramparts, battlements, portcullis, and arrow loops can be found. Through its long extension, places such as the barracks, forges, are located.
- The Twins - Two identical pointy dark towers raised on the exit that leaves the island on which the Fiery Gate stands to watch over its passage. A wide light bridgeleads to the innermost areas, controlled from inside Hope's Ruin command center, the Twins bricks are carved with the names of every single of one the slaves that build it, all sacrificed long ago.
- Slave's End - Earned of this monicker, this tower was built for housing the countless slaves that filled Ravaryn's garrison. Composed entirely of cells, torture chambers gas chambers, and pits for training. This place has damaging effects for Force Users, as they can see the cries of the fallen slaves moaning loudly on every corner of the tower, calling for help. One interesting fact regarding this place would be its basements, which are referred to as Lake of Bones, for its colossal area is entirely covered with mountains of the clean bones of the tens of thousands of slaves that died in this place.
- Hope's Ruin - The tower in control of the entire island, Hope's Ruin is made of command centers, training bays, barracks, kitchens, and armories. Their duties involve watching over the entire island and ensuring that all that pass over the lightbridge does not pose a threat to Ravaryn's safety. The tower earned its monicker due to the strange act of pinning down tongues on its walls, leaving them hanging in there as a warning not to speak of anything regarding the ideal of hope.
- The Burning Sewers - Much like its name, sewers run from inside the small island's surface, they go as far as beyond its walls, taking it to hidden entrances through the valley in front of its gates. Reaching as far as six miles to reach its keep, carrying blazing steam to fuel its pipes.

- Sinuous Road -Handcrafted by carving the living stone of the former mountain that followed all the way to the island where the castle now stands, the Sinuous Road was carved by the sacrifice of nearly two hundred thousands slaves, legend says that the slaves were dropped inside the Sea of Flashes for any reason that its masters could think of, such as picking up the pace for their work, for delaying their work, for being lazy, for smelling bad, for sport, for fun, to teach them a lesson, for being insolent, for being stupid, for being slow, for being old, for being ugly and for being weak. Causing the surrounding area beneath the bridge for becoming infested by large numbers of predatory creatures. Such as:

- Carn Ravaryn - After constructing its Road, the slaves were charged with raising the magnificent Bloodstone Palace. For its original creator want it a sanctum that resembled his magnificence, and his power, to be reckoned by all others around him as the greatest being that ever lived. Of the Old Palace very little remains, as Darth Calidus, its last occupier, took upon herself the duty of rebuilding over his ruins and crafting a housing inspired on her beliefs and more to her liking. Spells and runes were crafted in its walls, meant to confuse the minds of trespassers and watch over her secrets even long before she was killed, all of those, however, were made by her own command to ignore those of her own kind, rendering its current occupier safe at her domination over her legacy. The castle was built by using the finest materials available to the deceased Sith Lady, many famed for being valuable and rare, foolishly attracting scavenger hunters and looters over the ages.
- The Great Chamber of Enlightenment - Calidus's great hall was built to appear dark and grim at all times, named to mock her past life as a Jedi, and to extol her grandeur on how cunning and magnificent she was. In its walls shine the dim fading light golden light of magma, passed through inner plumbing throughout the entire castle, her hall of enlightenment as she enjoyed calling it was nothing more than a pale, sickly light of thousands of diamonds extracted from the Byt that were carved on the floor to shine her gaze as she watched it all from her throne on top of an emberstone platoon above all, on her throne made of bones, endless skulls of those that lost their lives fighting the ancient Sith Lady on her quest for power. Each of those white clean skulls bearing two sets of large diamond pieces shoved inside their empty eyes, gleaming maliciously over those that came to die at her bidding.
- The Great Library - Since the days of the Bloodstone King, an extensive amount of scrolls, tomes, parchments, books, holodisks has been stored inside his keep. To the days of Darth Callidus, a massive hoard has been added to this collection, of not only magical or force related artifacts but also countless maps, texts of lore, the knowledge that was to be considered forgotten, all kindly laying in the shelves and vaults of her library alongside many artifacts and devices she enjoyed keeping it together. Resulting in its construction to have been displayed on top of its own private island on Carn Ravaryn's smallest rock elevation, the Library occupies most of its tower.
- The Maelysfort Drum - The massive main tower standing above all others in the castle. This plate serves as the central keep of Carn Ravaryn. It is named after its last constructor, Maelys the Beautiful, the spouse of the late Darth Calidus that was the first to be sacrificed by her madness, binding his spirit to that of the tower. This place resonates with the booming and rumbling sounds that can be heard during the Byt's storms, The tower is directly connected to the main hall, which serves as its first main entrance through its external doors, however, Maelysfort has only two other entrance, one from the Gardens and the other one, well-hidden, leading straight to the Tongue. This castle houses many inner chambers, vast kitchens, pantries, abattoirs, balconies, many guest rooms, while its top floors serve as the Demon's Lair, where its colossal chambers were turned to a luxurious apartment, with its own private bathhouse, private conservatory, chambers and landing pad, large enough for a shuttle. There are no elevators on Maelysfort, forcing everyone to use their spiral stairways to move inside the Drum, admiring its twisted decoration, filled with paintings of dreadful scenes, monstrous statues of forgotten heroes and bloody villains, stuffed creatures, various alien skulls, and guts displayed as art pieces.
- The Sanctum of Insanity - Built by Calidus herself as the center of convergence where all dark energies that flow from the depths of the castle twist themselves inside this great hall, where the less fortunate had been gutted likes fishes and had their spirits bound to endless torment on its magnificent constructions, on the feet of the statues of mad deities raised to mock all that was good, its walls had been painted countless times with the blood of the innocents, with enchanted gargoyles quietly resting over perches near the roof, waiting to be called. There is only one entrance to the Sanctum, and two exits, one that leads to a private stairway that goes straight at the top of the Drum, where its master can rest. On the center of the Sanctum rests the Throne of Corruption, a device meant to focus the dark energies to he who claims over it.
- The Monstrous Pits - The corruptive cradle of the entire region. And the primal reason for its dark energies to exist, as they bear the existence of the Samna Melko long before its creation. The floors are filled with dungeons, torture chambers, vaults, while its last floor has a coliseum where its spectators can watch the depths of the Abyss Who Rises, for both their wonder and despair to ponder what would be sacrificed next out of the whims of a tyrant.
- The Garden of Idols - Covered by a glass transparent ceiling, this place has its weather conditions changed by the miracle of technology to spawn the most beautiful flowers and trees ever imagined by the organic mind. Android Caretakers roam this place attending to the needs of its flowers, while three colossal statues stand above all else, displaying the faces of all three Demonkings, as a built by Darth Calidus in her passionate display of her fallen brothers.
- The Tongue - A secret pathway that goes from the castle all the way to the Byt's most secluded area, one where the heavy dark smoke expelled by the volcanoes cover its secret way out. Carved in secrecy to keep an emergency exit for all those that attempt to escape this keep in case of an attack.
SECURITY
Medium. Aside from its occupiers, and their technological enhancements to the security of this facility alongside its external natural defenses, the castle is well guarded by holocameras, and numerous traps meant to be activated through thermal scanning for intruders. Meant to hold a siege for long periods of time, Carn Ravaryn's defenses can hold an air assault with enough firepower to bring down enough starships, however, it doesn't match the firepower of a capital grade vessel. Countless eons ago, this was the site chosen to house the secret fortress of a deceased myth of the Mornedhel species. Known only as 'the Bloodstone', and sometimes referred to as 'Bloodstone King', the old texts of the Sith Empire, along with archives that survived inside his fortress point out a name to identify this obscure figure as the Sith Lord Belegûr. Who, according to the legend, was once a powerful and proud member of Vitiate's court, chosen by the Secret Emperor himself to be trained and serve his legions as a member of his Dark Council, which he did for more than two centuries. However, for unknown reasons, Belegûr abandoned the Empire, as some believe he became too powerful for Vitiate to control, while others claim he coveted for more than serving a master and wished to assume a throne of his own and to be called a master by all those that served, but for whatever reasons may be associated behind his actions, it doesn't change the fact that Belegûr left and began building a massive force to take over his own piece of the galaxy. Building the first drafts of this castle's foundations as an arsenal along with a sanctum to be kept in secret by him, Belegûr ruled over Nessantico, and carved for himself a large chunk of the known galaxy of those days of yore, which he kept under his control for nearly a hundred years, from Tatooine to Naboo, his banners ruled over his peers with a fist clad in stone, soaked in blood. But, as according to the legend, his forces alongside himself were both defeated by the joined alliance of the Star Heroes, as they were called, forcing Belegûr to either accept his defeat and be destroyed or fleeing to the unknown.
Fleeing to Ilmaren, Belegûr improved his arsenal, and used the place to lick his own and mend his pain with the sole devotion of making his enemies pay for what they had done to him. Throughout the next century, the Bloodstone reveled in bile on his flaming keep in Ilmaren's safety, with nothing but slaves to torture, and monsters to create, the darkness grew inside his mind making Belegûr come to the belief that he was a vessel of darkness, meant to guide its will and destroying the Sith Empire and its enemies all by himself. His powers grew stronger and in his own vanity, the Bloodstone King attempted to perform a dark ritual of mass sacrifices to claim for himself enough power to challenge the Sith Emperor Vitiate for the mantle and control of the Empire.
Planning on sacrificing every single slave that was under his control on the castle, to drain their life force empowering himself in his attempt of achieving divinity, Belegûr called upon this ritual of death. However, much to his vanity and the myths surrounding its art, the ritual took Belegûr to a screaming death just moments after he celebrated its triumph. When called, the ritual killed not only his slaves, but also every single living thing on half of Ilmaren's surface, pulling all those lives and souls back to where it started, pulverizing Belegûr's body and stripping it of its flesh, laying bare his spirit and chaining him to his own creation, forever. Due to his actions, the tale of the Bloodstone King was no more, his remaining forces were eventually wiped out and inside the depths of his ruined castle there awaited the orb of darkness, corrupting everything around him through the endless torments that it was made of.
For two thousand years, the Bloodstone Castle became a ruin. Ilmaren would never rise to any real importance, as its attempt of settling this place all ended up in ruin and death. The dark whispers of its existence eventually were heard by something just as foul, as one of the Demonkings, Darth Calidus, as she was pursuing the old legends driven by her ambition, the dark elz female went to the edges of her system to discover the ruins of what was once the Bloodstone Palace. Unveiling its secrets, she sought to harness the power of this ruined place by scoring it to her own greatness. Calidus used her resources and repopulated Ilmaren with aliens, Massassi tribes to house her army, aliens of a planet called Mustafar to work on her mines, and Coloi monsters to protect her secrets. Out of the Byt's guts, she carved herself a maze, and out of the Bloodstone's legacy, she built herself a wondrous castle. Bathed in magic and despair, Carn Ravaryn was made.
Some may note the similarities of each of its occupiers as it changed hands. The Bloodstone King used the lives of countless slaves to build his keep and bring his own demise, while the Demonking Calidus used forced labor to rebuild his ruins and sacrificed them to pursue its secret powers, breeding monsters of her own that eventually led to her downfall.
