- Designation:
- Non-Sentient (Unpossessed)
- Sentient (Possessed)
- Origins: Malsheem
- Average Lifespan: Unaging
- Estimated Population: Semi-Unique (Several dozen bodies in stasis)
- Description: Created from the genome of Kaine Zambrano, the strand-casts of Carnifex and Prazutis are the product of over a decade's worth of intensive study and experimentation into prolonging both Sith Lord's lives indefinitely. Modeled after Kaine's physique, the bodies possess many of the same qualities that he enjoyed prior to his first demise at the hands of Kiskla Grayson. Over time, various other genomes were spliced into the original genetic sequence to improve upon his physical form. Eventually those same benefits were transferred over into a separate line of clones made specifically for Kaine's uncle-brother, Prazutis.
- Breathes: Genetically modified to breath in all atmospheres
- Average Height of Adults: 2.5m (250cm)
- Average Length of Adults: N/A
- Skin color: Caucasian
- Hair color: Black
- Distinctions:
- Tall, Powerful Physiques
- Ubiquitous Black Hair
- Emerald Green Eyes (Until Sith Corruption)
- Races: N/A
- Force Sensitivity: All
- Epicanthix Genetics: The baseline genetic structure of both the Carnifex and Prazutis style strand-casts are Epicanthix in nature, meaning that they possess incredible stature, high metabolism, natural muscularity, Carnifex's own complete mental immunity to the Force, and Prazutis' heightened senses and reflexes.
- Indoumodon Genetics: Genes cultivated from tests subjects harvested from Indoumodo, this genetic material affords the strand-casts advanced hyperdensity and high resistance to natural and artificial neurotoxins.
- Talortai Genetics: Rare is the Talortai, and the successful replication of their genetic structure was more a stroke of fortunate than anything. But by splicing certain genome sequences into the strand-casts, they were granted rapid cellular regeneration and a near-complete lack of cellular degeneration through the process of aging.
- Dark Side Cellular Degradation: Despite the inclusion of Talortai genomes into Carnifex and Prazutis' genetic sequence, the Dark Side of the Force flowing through their beings is so powerful and so potent that it often overrides the code giving them regenerative powers. Sometimes through deep ritual stasis, this corruption can be reversed by increments, but more often than not the damage is permanent.
- Hyperdensity: Because of their Indoumodon genetics, the strand-casts are exceptionally heavy. The average weight of Carnifex alone is over six hundred and sixty pounds (three hundred kilograms). Beyond the inconveniences this creates in the average day for both Sith Lords, should both of them be subjected to any body of liquid they will sink to the very bottom rather quickly.
- Diet: Omnivorous
- Communication: The strand-casts are incapable of speech until they are possessed by the consciousnesses of either Carnifex or Prazutis, allowing them to speak fluent Basic, Epicant, and Sith alongside whatever other languages the two Sith Lords know.
- Technology level: When possessed, the bodies can use whatever technologies the host consciousnesses can at whatever skill level they possessed previously.
- Religion/Beliefs: Both Carnifex and Prazutis are members of the Brotherhood of the Sith, the largest and orthodox Sith religious institution in the galaxy. Carnifex serves as the religious leader of this organization, with Prazutis as his second hand. Simultaneously, both are public adherents of their family's native faith on Panatha, though they do not profess this faith as much as they do their Sith beliefs.
- General Behavior: When not controlled by the Sith Lord's host consciousnesses, the bodies are kept in artificial stasis aboard the Malsheem Worldcraft far above the galactic disk. There they remain, inert, mindless, and kept alive by highly advanced Khomm and Spaarti technologies.
Sixteen years ago (844 ABY) the Sith Lord Kaine Zambrano met with Jedi Master Taeli Raaf. It was at this meeting that Lady Raaf revealed herself as a secret Dark Force user, her transition made after the disappearance of her sister Corvus Raaf early on in the Great War between the One Sith and the Galactic Republic.
She had come to believe what the Sith believed, that the Jedi were a force of stagnation and ultimately would harm the galaxy more than they would protect it. Forging a secret pact with Zambrano, they put many of their plans into action. Chief of which was the creation of a clone army that could be used to one day eradicate their enemies should whatever force the Sith led at the time become imperiled.
Along with this clone army, Taeli would engineer a series of replacement bodies for the Sith Lord to use in his bid for immortality. After his first death at the hands of Kiskla Grayson in the same year, the process of transferring his consciousness into an artificial body proved successful. In time, however, his body would begin to fail him, a byproduct of their unfamiliarity with the dark science.
Kaine shed his failing body on Dromund Kaas, arising again during the Battle of Lujo to lead the Sith to victory against the newly formed Galactic Alliance. Though initially victorious, not even his return could reverse the tide that turned against the One Sith, and he fled Coruscant with the bulk of his most precious technologies and artifacts to begin anew in the Unknown Regions and Wild Spaces of the galaxy.
Understanding that their clone army would be insufficient to reverse the collapse of the One Sith, both Sith elected to keep their activities hidden and wait for a better opportunity.
Over the course of the next decade, both he and Taeli would improve upon their initial research and experiments, joined by Kaine's uncle Braxus Zambrano. This would ultimately culminate in the creation of a new strain of host bodies, ones that combined the genomes of the Epicanthix, the Indoumodons, and the Talortai.
Slipping into these new forms in the year 850 ABY Carnifex and Prazutis would go on to found a new Sith Empire in the Tingel Arm and lead the Sith into many new wars against the galaxy.
