Cartography Request

A rather unusual request to be sure, but for my campaign I will need 2-3 maps. Now, I am capable of doing them, but they’re hardly brilliant. If someone is capable of doing the backgrounds or provide me with the icons to use on it I think it’ll help a lot.

If you need more details, ask, and eventually we’ll be going to PM.

[member="Ashin Varanin"] — Thank you! I basically made the regular map first (all the countries and stuff) and decided to base it off of those old pirate map things with the help of photoshop!

[member="Sitara Qin"] - don't be afraid to get technical. I'm no master but I know what I'm doing for the most part, and I'd love to try to replicate that style.

[member="Ashin Varanin"] – I started with the actual map (the continents) and when I was satisfied with the shape I got, I transfered it onto a separate style. I first drew a rectangle (for the original map shape), put a paper texture over it, then cut it so that it looked torn/burned. Then I put it over a texture for the wood and then used texture brushes and desaturated the entire thing to get it to look like that. You just have to know what you're going for I guess.
