Cassandra Darkfel was born on Bastion, a military brat whose parents thought it better she did not publicly exist. She was shunned, and cast out. She was forced to survive on the Imperial Capital world, and eventually found her way in with a family living on the edge of starvation. They cared for her when they could not even care for themselves, nurtured her growth and curiosity, and did their best to prepare her for the world. When she was old enough, she left to join the Imperial Military, and to this day, continues to send half of her income to support this family. Despite her best efforts, she did not make it through Stormtrooper training, and instead joined the Sector Defense Forces. She rose through the ranks through merit and service, and eventually came to command. As turmoil and confusion began to spread across the Empire, Cassandra began laying the ground work for her ambitions to take root, with her eyes set on a single goal. Her birthright.
