- Special Missions Bay: Half of the original droid mission bay has been modified to hold people and equipment for special operations missions like sabotage, inciting rebellions, or capturing important personnel or equipment. This is usually up to two dozen commandoes or similar personnel/droids like Directorate Trade Agents and handful of vehicles, which include Narglatch-class Speeder Bikes, Panthac-class Compact Assault Vehicles, or Kreetle-class Drop Miners.
- Droid Mission Bay:holds up to forty of the following droids
- Assassin: The Cassian Andor has been outfitted to act as a swift ambush vessel, destroying enemies before it can be detected or noticed. To that end, it uses a high-end stygium-based cloaking device and a nonmetallic hull to conceal itself while preferring to use projectile cannons to prevent it being easily found even when firing.
- Spy Ship: Despite its mundane appearance as a small warship, the Cassian Andor also sees service as a spy ship, using its powerful sensor arrays and stealth devices to gather intelligence on enemies.
- Limited Munitions: The Cassian Andor relies heavily on projectile weapons in order to help conceal its appearance, but with its small size, its magazines are relatively small and not well-suited for extended engagements.
At a glance, the Cassian Andor appears to be a simple Dismet II-class Raider Corvette - a common enough sight in Silver Jedi Concord and neutral space. But as with many things in the galaxy, there is more than meets the eye. The Cassian Andor has been extensively modified to act in more covert roles. Its hull has been replaced with nonmetallic carbo-plas and it has been outfitted at great expense with a stygium-based cloaking device. Half of its interior droid bay has been converted into a holding area for special operations personnel along with their equipment. Perhaps most jarringly to actually board the secretive craft, the Andor was one of the testbeds for the extensive use of Lacerti-series Starship Automation, and thus only requires an organic crew of six - allowing the ship to conduct missions of great secrecy with very few souls aware of it what it does. Many of these missions are simple insertions of special operations teams onto hostile or neutral worlds. But the Cassian Andor herself has been employed from time to time as an "assassin ship", as Ariela is keen to say. In this role, the Andor lays in wait among stars, concealed by its cloaking device and silent running procedures. As the prey ship approaches, the Andor suddenly attacks with its fast-tracking mass driver cannons. With no visual signs of the attacker and its distress calls jammed by the Andor's frequency jammer, most starship prey is quickly destroyed without ever knowing what hit them. Andor's covert missions are carried out under the direct order of Admiral Gir Quee, with the Andor's true nature kept secret except to a few within Directorate High Command. In order to maintain its facade as a simple Directorate warship, the Andor takes part in common space patrols and good will visits to friendly ports. Few who encounter the ship ever really knew how close they were to something out of the ordinary.
