-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Personality - Aloof, magnanimous, and benevolent are his ways. Born of the nobility and afforded a life full of pleasantries and a lax lifestyle, his ways are often remarked to be rather "kind in spirit, yet lacking experience." However, that's merely the only side of him that has been publicly shown. While he does boast an entire lifetime of Jedi training along with their "good" mindset, he does teeter on the fence on more than a few occasions. Holding the power over that many people as the figure of divine reverence changes the way you look at things.
Complex and mysterious. Castiel is quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and fight for those who cannot do it themselves, yet he's quick to discipline and won't hesitate to sacrifice the few for the many.
Appearance - A fairly athletic build combined with an average height don't exactly make Castiel an imposing figure. His mother's Diathim traits are very present within his appearance, though his father's genes are noticeable as well. Lacking the wings and typical visage of Diathim, Castiel appears to look and behave more like a human being, with the only prominent genetic traits being the faint luminescent glowing of his skin and the hypnosis powers. He beholds rather feminine features and is occasionally mistaken to be a woman, much to his discontent.
Despite being Thyrsian - who are typically dark skinned with similar hued hair - Castiel's skin is noted to be quite fair and his wavy locks appear to be a light silver shade or are merely stark white.
His typical attire is usually his silver armor. While it's not heavy armor and is composed of rather light metals, it's a sufficient medium armor variant that allows a good range of movement and combined protection when used in conjunction with energy shields.

Melee Combat - A remarkable swordsman is Castiel. Often times he prefers to not even use his blue-bladed lightsaber, opting to use the traditional Echani Vibrosword instead. Niman and Makashi are his two chosen specialties when it came to bladed combat. Niman is an art and form that he has long since mastered to be used in conjunction with his wide variety of Force abilities ranging from Force Light to Telekinesis based attacks. Makashi is his fall-back option, as he enjoys the precise movements of its bladework and emphasis on balancing body weight and movement.
In terms of hand-to-hand combat, Castiel is an exceptional practitioner of the usual Echani martial arts. Disarming opponents, ensuing submissions, and capitalizing upon pressure points are some aspects that he utilizes extremely often. He's so well trained in these arts that sometimes even challengers believe that he can predict their movements - a saying that many have remarked upon the Echani and their Thyrsian counteparts.
Force Abilities - Lightside abilities are his primary focus. Force Light, Force Stun, and Force Blinding are abilities used in his skillset on numerous occasions. These powers are used during his bladework in Niman. Castiel prefers to subdue and subjugate his darksided opponents, even going as far to as to use Malacia against them.
While his mind and skillset are for subduing, he's not afraid to execute last resort options.

HISTORY
Castiel Lennox was the unifying piece between the Diathim and Thrysian Kingdom. His mother, a beautiful and angelic being, had fallen in love with his Thyrsian father long, long ago. King Gabriel Lennox was his father, ruling over his world with an even hand and leading his people to prosperity as best as he could. However, doing so required an immense amount of internal fortitude and such things were nearly impossible to do without a helping hand. That was where Castiel was intended to come in. Gabriel had planned on bringing up a boy capable enough to take the throne once he was old and weak, a man to lead his people to greatness and prosperity. However, fate had other things in mind. Castiel was a rather peculiar young boy, cared for by his mother on many occasions, and exhibited traits that were out of the norm a Thyrsian being usually held.
Glowing skin, his hypnotic aura, and the general feeling of happiness and joy overcame the emotions of people around him. Not to mention having fair skin and silver hair - a trait exhibited by the Echani rather than Thyrsians - only furthered the assumptions of many. Gabriel was very cautious, however, and took measures to ensure that his son was actually just like the tales of old. The Thyrsian people had already been deceived once and gaining another false hope would be the end of them.
They were not disappointed.
Young Castiel became the Son of Suns that very instant. The combined weight of the galaxy rested upon the shoulders of an infant boy and the future would hold many things in store for the fabled savior of the galaxy. To do this he would need training, and an entire lifetime of such a thing if he were even to come close to a smidgen of actually saving anything. With that, the Thrysian Royal Court turned to the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic to ensure the safety and stable upbringing of their young hero.
The boy was immediately shipped away to a fairly average and simple life as a Jedi. While hailed as a future redeemer of sins by his own people, the denizens of the Republic saw him as no more than a nuisance to their way of life and the Jedi were just as equally disproving of his rather ambitious nature and penchant for rebelling against laws of the order and direct orders from his superiors.
His career as a Jedi was fairly uneventful, with his main intentions aimed at becoming a master so that he may return to his home and govern his people in peace. Fate, once again, changed the planned route of his life just as war struck and the galaxy was sent into turmoil by the disappearance of tens of millions.
Castiel returned home to find an old, sacred legion of warriors awaiting his command - and the weight of the galaxy couldn't be any heavier.
