By now Jessica has more or less fallen in love with a certain Summer Sovereign, whom she found intellectually solid, well within her range like few people were, but the couple wanted more. They were lucky that they didn't judge each other based on their sexual or factional orientation: that was, by itself, a blessing that, in these troubled times, would cause many a relationship between a FU and a NFU to fall apart. Of the two, Jessica was the more demanding in terms of Force-alignment, probably because she was persona non grata among Sith Lords and she already had a strained relationship with the Mandos since Kashyyyk. They might each have "a brain that glows in the Force", because of each other's intellects, but Jessica had a personal share in the profits from four products: the eponymous variable-geometry landing gear, the Utinni #1 perfume, the Wicca broomstick and Dead Fantasy 2 - and soon-to-be a fifth: regulatory agencies took longer to approve its release in the case of the fifth product, because of the AI it contains. Yet that one was a product Jessica designed almost all by herself, that is, the Hammurabi AI, in which Warren's role was rather limited, despite being originally his idea, which led Charzon to treat her as she would a restricted material - she was the most precious creative mind.

Because of the solution advertised and sold by this Gungan I feel most tempted to commission the construction of this castle where I could deploy a smaller-scale corporate lab as well. But even a smaller-scale corporate lab would require significant amounts of space. Actually it would be a lab more than it would be a residence to me. Due to the cost of the land I would prefer a low-cost planet such as Dulvoyinn. Additional details will have to be discussed at a later date.

Enduri was just chilling around in his office , getting swarmed by the heat of Rishi, when a message came in regarding Jaii Builds. He opened the said message , and he was more than surprised to discover it was Lady [member="Jessica Med-Beq"] , who had sent it. It seemed that she wanted a castle built for her , with enough room for a small laboratory. He started making some initial designs. A bathroom there , a small bedroom here , and in the underground , space for a laboratory. Even if she desired to send more details , Enduri had to start somewhere. He sent a holomessage back , with an attached file that contained the initial blueprint for the castle.

Jessica never specified the size of the castle - it could have been a 10, 20 or 30-room castle. But knowing who would live in the resulting castle, it will have to be built without fencing. Plus she had a rather steady source of income, although understandably the profits on one of those four products would fade sooner than the other three, namely DF2. Profits on holovids tend to peak on the week of a theatrical release. Dulvoyinn's arctic circle was still quite hot: temperatures rarely go below 10 degrees Celsius, even in winter nights. And even then temperatures could rise to 25-30 degrees in the day, sometimes up to 40 in the summer. Plus she was almost as tall (and heavy) as a Wookiee female, leading some to suspect whether she actually had Wookiee ancestry. But not the other permanent resident of the resulting castle: Summer is a lot more willowy than Jessica is. Whereas, according to Mandalorian measurements, Summer was 5'11", Jessica ws 6'5".

I never specified the size of the castle; one may be wondering why you assumed that 10 rooms would be sufficient? I understand that a basement lab would be included regardless of size, but a 10-acre plot near Dulvoyinn's north pole with the ability to build a 30-room castle on it only cost 5,000 credits, or so that Gungan told me. Also because I plan to have guestrooms as well as additional for an eventual family, Nevertheless, a kitchen, a laundry room, a living room, a dining room, a solarium and a basement lab are the non-negotiable items. Due to the demands of such requirements, 4 bathrooms, 10 bedrooms, a firing range, a home theater, a home gym, a library and a landing pad would also be required, alongside a walk-in closet. Also since I could also use it as a corporate retreat, a conference room is also required. Finally, because I am almost as tall as a Wookiee, if it is possible for the ceilings and the doors to be high enough for Wookiees to feel comfortable living in, it would be well-appreciated.

That was quite the request from the madam. Anyway , Enduri needed to get to work. He started piecing all the parts together. The underground would be about the same size as the castle in width and in lenght , but just about 3 meters high , that should be enough for a Wookie. He started by the non-negoatible parts:

An eccentric genius that created several items, from whose profits she pocketed, the last of them being a holomovie. She would probably want to use the auditorium for testing a new home theater system that she would like to use on the newest breed of ships her boss would conjure up. Charzon would probably appreciate a hypervelocity gun, of which the early stages of design have begun.

By now the remaining rooms were completed, and I seem to be most satisfied with the layout of this castle. Never will the Gungan see such a castle on Dulvoyinn. I'm more than just a Force-computer, at least the requested rooms made use of the comforts every occupant has every right to expect. Because the plans are required by the Dulvoyinn construction permit process, I will take them to the local authorities so that construction and purchase of materials may begin without further delay.

Even though the firing range may be used by Summer more often than by Jessica, Jessica knew that the firing range was a necessity for the couple to live happily ever after. Plus said construction permit process for some princess' summer home is almost instant, just a formality, since Dulvoyinn is so sparsely populated, only about 2 million people called Dulvoyinn home. Materials and whatnot are best purchased after the permits are issued. Jessica prefers Dulvoyinn where Jawas aren't as abundant - one or two Jawas are nice to have around as - rather distant - neighbors, but to be constantly surrounded by Jawas as is the case on Ringo Vinda's surface is a nuisance. But Jessica always pictured princesses as rather obnoxious people that always made so many demands of everyone, even though this time around it was Jessica making more demands than that princess she called a lover.

Jessica took the time to go to the local authorities, the county courthouse whose jurisdiction covered most of the North Pole region on Dulvoyinn and request a construction permit along with the survey report the Gungan transmitted to her. On Dulvoyinn, most settlements larger than a village were county seats: this world was very rural and even small towns could be the political and administrative centers of rather large chunks of the planetary surface. And when she arrived at the construction permits office, she was asked to fill out a form, which was the application for a construction permit. She had to supply all the stuff: survey report for the lot, blueprints, estimated value (1.5 million credits), but that was as she predicted: easy as pie. In just 10 minutes the whole process was over. Using local materials, such as pink sandstone, blue slate, was going to make the bill increase. Unlike what many on planets such as Corulag, Hosnian Prime or Loronar (or even Kuat) dreamed of when they want to build mansions or castles, Jessica decided that the exterior would feature no quoins, no dormers, have mostly one material for the exterior and have mostly one material on the roof, unlike those McMansions she saw her colleagues, past and present, build all over the place, especially those who lived on Bimmisaari, Kuat or Gyndine. To her, if you know an item is built to last, may as well have a pleasant concept to it, but fashion items usually don't last very long, especially not clothing that is not made of armorweave. She was no architect, to be honest, but [member="Enduri Jaii"] was just fine to her as an architect.

Enduri had his ship prepare and his 20 men already mounted and then the coordinates came in. He transmitted said coords to the pilot and awaited as they left the orbit of Rionda and entered hyperspace. The building process shouldn't take more than a week seen as his men are quite handy. The hard part would be the wiring and water cabling as castles weren't mainly built to hold many attraction rooms such as theaters and gyms , but more to house many people of royal heritage , whilst the intertainment stayed outside.

Enduri was visibly surprised with the requests for the basement. But Summer wasn't your ordinary princess, nor was Jessica your ordinary scientist: both women had to stay in shape for some reason. They were both brilliant (just in different ways) and mentally active, their brains needed some rest sometimes. Nevertheless she knew that she needed to entertain guests somehow. Now what kind of guests a princess would get? The theater's stage had to have enough space for a music band for those occasions where either needed to have something more refined than a holovid, and that's precisely what they were going to obtain. The house's upkeep was nothing she couldn't handle... the property taxes were roughly 20k credits a year, maintenance another 20k, perhaps 30k if the princess' landscaping tastes proved to be expensive in their own right, because Jessica wasn't one that had much landscaping taste, given that many plants that are common in landscape architecture don't last very long. An entire category of plants called yearlies was devoted to those plants whose lifespan was one standard year or less.

Enduri had landed and received a transmission from [member="Jessica Med-Beq"] , it was the payment. He transferred 500k credits to the Jaii Builds' bank account and the rest to the realtor's. They were now starting to unload some of the equipment , and Enduri realized they needed a bigger ship than his personal , as they went crammed in there. Anyway , that was business for another time , it was now time to start building the castle.
They were at the coordinates and he didn't know if Jessica was going to be there , or not , but they preffered to send a message before starting the excavations.

So Ugohr would pocket the commission but the rest would be spent on materials, such as kempas (for the floors), plaster, plumbing, wiring, as well as pink sandstone. Plus the business Jessica is alluding to is the quarterly board meeting. Charzon is grateful for what she accomplished, for her ability to seemingly turn out tech out of nowhere, and she treats Jessica as she would a supply of restricted material. Hell, she was a walking source of restricted material since the day she pulled out that AI out of thin air by herself. Said AI may not be released yet but nevertheless she knows what to do with it and what market there is for that. She was pretty, nice, smart and all that. But the R&D budget ran dry and about half the budget was devoted to building and developing the Ultima; hopefully she would be able to answer the questions of people such as the CFO, COO, CCO (Chief Communications Officer) with Marcia as CDO (Chief Digital Officer) also attending, because the design decisions and corporate visions made by Charzon do not seem to match up with the results.

"Alright , we have permission to start digging , just as it shows on the blueprints , start by doing the shape for the wiring and piping. Then get on with the walls and floors.".
An excavator came and started digging the basement , just as other men started doing some frames for the higher side of the castle.

The floor was now dug , and frames had been set. Some of the builders came and checked the electrical wires and water piping of that zone , on one of the charts they had downloaded from the holonet , and started connecting said pipes , making the frame have even more shape.
