Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
Viera Kisep Viera Kisep

The massive Windsor station dropping out of hyperspace... it was a beast to travel with but it served a purpose for many things.. first and foremost a mobile forward base of the second fleet when they were away from their base. THe primary one designed to test, train and repair the second fleets stealth vessels. Sala'dine had invited Viera to bring her remaining ships. There were a lot of Imperials in the galaxy and ones seeking to make remnants but the main one had been rather... lackluster. They talked the same as others... they offered few in terms of reasons to be there aside from their being the latest and the biggest.... and the paycheck as it were wasn't nearly as much as one could make in the second fleet. She had no real reason to do much and aside from Bastions Imperial knights academy being near them. Thankfully they didn't use it, which meant most of the advanced equipment and training aids for Imperial Knights were not with them. She had plans though... several which could help them and expand what they were doing... they hinged on a lot of luck granted but that is why they had been upgrading many of the weapons and equipment. The second fleet could scout and prepare the way for a heavier fleet where it would be needed but they were looking to maintain the infrastructure of the planet and its moons.. convert them to the intended need for them and if they could set it up correctly... they could have a better protective layering for it.

Viera Kisep found herself wondering why she was making a groan when getting out of her chair as there was no pain, no stiffness in her joints. She was still getting used to her new body. Well it was technically her body just a clone but it was young, it was nice to be young again. Viera laughed at herself, doing some stretches before leaving her cabin. She had somehow joined Sala'dine's fleet at some point and well she was still here. Though her force trained body guards didn't have much to do these days, she had let them to do their own thing for a while now. Most of her people were tired of warping around the galaxy, perhaps it was time they do something about that as nice as the fleet and this station was,

"So where are we exactly?" She asked loudly as she walked out on the Command Center, people gawking until they realized who it was and going back to their work. As she got closer to Sala'dine Sala'dine she got quieter. "Also give my compliments to the medical division. I love the new body just have to get used to some habits I have formed in the old one." She around, making sense of the screens and readouts. The only down side to being on in bleeding edge fleet, was the constant need to learn how to use all the new toys and what they could do. New facts to memorize so she could make the right tactical decision if needed. It was time to make a move, and perhaps this plan could make something of Sala'dine and hers forces again.

The voice was somewhat new but it could be felt.. she had known her for long enough to know the voice even if she was in a younger form. "Weclome Grand Admiral." THe title was hold and they had both held it in time but it was an honor that her crew knew and within the Command structure of the Second Fleet, of the ghost fleet there was better guidelines. They trained, they moved and they improved upon it sharing with many of the other groups they contracted to train. "You do look wonderful, I shall pass along the compliments of their work." Their medical teams were getting better in most terms and here as she looked out.

"We found a world, it is considered a blackrock, damage from terraforming and a partial atmosphere but no local population to speak of. Two moons and it is remote away from most eyes in the galaxy." She said it while walking around the holographic display of the planet in between them. "We have a base yes but given the state of stagnation for most IMperial groups." She said it and Viera had shown her the latest one and the one before that.. most discussions were the same and they went for the same exploitation that inevitably led to each governments downfall with the leaders extracting too much and causing discord.

"So we can use this, Bastion is good and the Imperial Knights Academy there will provide us, it doesn't get used by other groups which is of benefit to us. From here we can fortify, train and develop a machine with better ideals." She looked at her and gave a raised eyebrow though coming around. "We endure, we strive, we become stronger."

"So, I apologize but I am not up to date one what one can do with terraforming and all that, a damaged planet with a partial atmosphere doesn't sound exactly promising. " She looks for one of the techs or Sala'dine to speak up. Poking around the holographic planet and seeing if there is anything she herself can tell from it. "Looks like it would be nice to defend. Easy to hide as well given the region. "I like it, there also seems to be resources in space to harvest for our use. " She said taking note of the system.

This world would be their new foundation, previously it had been this fleet and station but now they were moving to a bigger scale. One that could perhaps lead to something bigger and meaningful. "Yes we endrue, we strive and we become stronger. " She smiled as she kept taking in the data trying to make sense of it all. If they couldn't salvage the planet, then they were going to have to make sure it had enough resources to pay for all the other stuff they needed to import.

"A partially terraformed world can be repaired in time... terraforming has come a long way and if we establish it as a fortress world the surface will be defended under layers and layers of metal and crete." She moved over with a grin on her face while pointing towards it. "The areas that are mountain and partially formed lakes can benefit us." She said it and turning from the hologram to the planet out of the viewport she was checking over much of it... With attention to the smaller details while she pointed. "We can develop the moons, one a shield projector and one a forgeworld. Massive manufacturing shipyards and industrial means." Her grin was there though she was prepared for it and Kisep was the one who could provide plenty to them. "Plus well there is the chance of no longer needing governors. Merit over just the one who is the most politically savvy and who does the most favors." She shrugged. "Also bribing you with plenty of clone labs and spas to maintain your looks for the biplomatic meetings."

"Seems logical and we harvest what we can can from the surrounding space. We have the tech for most of this so I am not afraid of the project. Just a matter of securing all the supplies." Viera started drawing some fortifications on to the planet and pulling up the drawings of their latest weaponry and putting down emplacements. "This place will be a terror for anything that lands or nears it. though I agree that we just need military command instead of governors. As you said, I have no interest in politics. It lets real idiots get in command and I accept your bribes. " She smirked at the idea of a spa. Sure she was a bit vain but everyone had flaws, at least it wasn't drugs or something. "So What do you think?"

She was looking at it and emplacements would be key on the planet. THey needed and would want the largest anti orbital cannons, stations for defensive means and likely they would need a shield gate. SOmething that can be set up and make it something that is as difficult to approach as it was to land on. Hyperspace security stations that would interdict the system except for a narrow path their ships would be able to use to get in and out. Defensive mines in space and mixture of fixed and random patrols roaming around. She was expanding it while checking over more of the things that they had. "We can do it and expand much more." Her smile though was there as her bribe was accepted which was important... bribes were something politicians did but between Admirals it was something more beneficial. "And well I shall have a gift for you. something to bring about... unification as it were and make this look more official."

"Seems like I will have to come up with some bribes. " She laughed as she kept adding to their plans. It was crazy how much one needed to make a fortress system. "I will leave the forge and shield moons to the engineers, however I feel we should double check their proposed defenses of course. We should also make a few asteroid hidden defenses... and yes hyperspace security stations, patrols, and mines are a must. Need to make sure ships emerge only where we want them too. " She started pulling out virtual representations of those very things to throw on the hologram and smiled as they appeared. "I think this will be a pretty intimidating place but we also need to make sure we have areas for our people to live, work and train as much as I would love to devote everything to the military. " She knew there was such a thing as a work life balance even if hers was tilted towards work as did most here. "Perhaps we can build some sort of Training Center to handle the increased load of all the people we will need It can be a station if need be."

"Agreed." Developing defenses, emplacements and means to manufacture their own equipment and ships is beneficial yes but you needed the bodies for it and. "That will be part of the development. A few dozen layers of structure around the planet. TUrning the surface into an entire fortress where the military would be on the surface with a lower layer designed to mimic an ideal world. Show what is being trained and fought for." She was looking at more of it and the planet being wrapped in levels like Denon or Nar Shadda or Coruscant but they didn't need a thousand plus yet... a hundred or so with the right materials and equipment. SHe looked at Viera while leading the way towards her office and opened it up. Her desk kept straight and clean, shelves lined with different docusments on holoreaders for military from around the galaxy. Then in the center of the view port looking out was Kisep's Uniform.

Viera followed Sala'dine and smiled at the sight of her new Uniform. "It is much better than my old one. " She examined it closely to see what to make note of. If it was anything like the usual quality of goods provided by then it had a few neat tricks. "I like, thank you." She made sure the office door was closed and changed into it. It was just Sala'dine Sala'dine after all. After she got it on she did a few stretches to make sure it was fit just right before smiling at the giver of the outfit. "It is perfect, thanks. " She had to admit that it was much better than her old one. "So is this all you brought me in here for?" She asked looking at one of the rooms she had spent a fair amount of time in. The bridge, their offices and rooms were where they spent most of their lives after all. When they weren't helping train other people that is.

SHe bowed when thanks came and after Viera was changed into the outfit she moved over and double checked it. To ensure it and her own looked properly done. SHe looked at the woman and nodded. "Yes for the most part, there is one other thing I wanted to ask." She moved over to the desk. "We have known each other a long time, through many governments rising and falling trying to lay claim to the Imperial Mantle.. though battles and wars and here on the precipice of well frankly a new start. There is no one I would really want to have here. So in this endeavor we should be united and though the same process that makes us our new bodies to maintain and keep vigilant. We should have a child to carry on our legacy. Build this world for them to inherit through their exceptional skills and education in military doctrine and standards."
