STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
+ Silver Tongue – Cataline has a wonderful way for words and is often credited being gifted with persuasion, peacekeeping, and generally keeping things calm.
+ Friendly – Cataline is an immensely nice and friendly person. She’s eternally optimistic, nice to everyone she meets, and strives to be an example to others.
- Nightmares – Due to the rather unstable life she’s led so far, she often has nightmares that leave her tired and fatigued the next day.
- Holdin' It In – She does her best to keep the bad, negative, or otherwise not so good hidden from others. Her emotions are held within, and every now and then it will ‘pop.’
APPEARANCE
5’8”, 124 pounds, and full of energy – Cataline has long blonde hair, blue-green eyes, and a soft, pretty pale complexion. Thin, but not muscular. A somewhat fan of tattoos, she has a string of designs (left picture) running down the middle of her back.
BIOGRAPHY
Being a kid was a fun time, even if there weren’t any opportunities to go outside and play. There were places, like abandoned supply closets or piping that wasn’t used anymore. And for the most part, that was what Cataline remembered the most about the first 8 years of her life. Playing, enjoying life, and being educated by the colonial administration.
It apparently hadn’t always been that way, of course. Paying tribute to a pirate empire was something she heard parents complain about often. No other stability in the region, though, although something about the Chiss coming close? She didn’t really remember, or care. Life was good, after all, and with youth came ignorant bliss.
It was a few months after her 8th birthday that things took a nosedive – some attack from other pirates? Cataline wasn’t sure. All she knew was that her family had thrown together some packs of luggage and ran towards a freighter. If anything, she remembered from her early years, it was the bright yellow and orange bombs that would explode.
Finally, in the safety of the freighter, they left with a bunch of other refugees – fleeing the planet, the system, the pirates, and their former lives.

And they landed in Coruscant. With their parents having no real education, they started off very small in the slums of Coruscant. Safety was emphasized constantly by them, but at least there was some normalcy. School was back in, one of Cataline’s favorite things. The Galactic Alliance brought safety and stability, too.
At least, until it didn’t. Coruscant was sacked – and the only saving grace her family had was being safely nestled in the lower levels of Coruscant. Their parents, foreseeing a war in the making, decided to make some preparations in case they needed it. A stockpile of food and water, some board games, and enough wood and other items to board themselves into their now 3-bedroom apartment. The nightmares of the initial attack back on Iol raced to her mind and she spend the entire time hiding in the pantry until it was over.
Cataline couldn’t believe they had escaped one area to land in the next. And the only thing she knew to do was help as much as she could. Volunteering with a variety of different groups to help rebuild her little part of the battered planet up until the Core Imperial Confederation – a, in her opinion, repressive autocracy.
There wasn’t much she could do – being a teen on a planet filled with billions made her voice barely a spec. She focused on her education, including getting into a debates club.
But at 15, she really realized how much her family was struggling. She got a job at a homeless shelter to help bring in some extra credits, along with using her silver tongue, pristine reputation, and general niceness to get freebies and the like from others. If only something could happen that would give her that upper leg… And with the newest government, the Grayson Imperium, it seemed further away than ever. Cataline surmised it was better than the previous, at least. Her day to day didn’t really change, and she could only hope she could help her family and community more.
But at 20, she wasn’t quite sure what to do with her life. Enroll in a college? Find a job to make ends meet with her family? What was her purpose in this whole galaxy? It was something she thought about as she stared out the window of her room, into the ever-busy sky ways of Coruscant.
