A hero of many battles, a survivor of many more; Captain Cato Demora serves as a member of the legendary 1st Legion - The Emperor's Fist. While not a Sith himself, nor subscribed to their theory publically, Cato has served in various iterations of Sith Regimes for years. Hand chosen by one of Qual'Al-Selim's Frumentarii - Cato departed from the Sith Empire after he saw the writing on the wall, unwilling to abandon his nation when the New Imperial Order fractured off and yet unwilling to abandon the idea of the Empire as a whole, he has instead turned his hopeful gaze and wide skill set to the service of The Worm Emperor.

Placed amongst the best, Cato Demora serves as one of the field officers of the 1st Legion - well respected by his company, and feared by his enemies; Cato has done much to ensure the lives of his troops persist battle through battle, knowing they have a family to return home to. Having no family of his own, Cato has repeatedly reinlisted instead of choosing a civilian life despite a sizable pension waiting for him from the various governments he has worked for - many rolled over through security accounts he himself does not partake in. Instead, he finds his home on the battlefield - away from the trivialities of life, knowing only the smell of tibanna plasma and napalm.

Now, while his men appreciate him, his enemies fear him - and while his legend grows many seem to forget that Cato is little more than a man. A man with a blaster, a man with a willingness to fight, and a man with little to lose.

Cato Demora is a simple man - not particularly handome, nor ugly. Rather, Cato is a average, in his looks and demeanor, to his size and stature, the man is nothing but unremarkable; yet has one stand out feature, bright red hair that burns like the fires he sets in battle. From brow to stache, he is covered in the red hair; only taking the time to shave it to keep his mustache immaculate - when command allows him to do as much. It is, however, one of the various elements of his appearance few ever get to see - besides those closest in his company.​

Generally, Cato is seen as little more than one of the First Legion. Black armor, dark visor, a vocabulator that twists his words into a demonic entity - all for the sake of intimidation. It keeps civilians docile, keeps their enemies fearful, and keeps Cato anonymous; for nothing actually distinguishes him from his fellow soldier except a small rank plaque darkened to better fit his position. With blaster rifle in hand, few ever see Cato as anything more than one of the First Legion - for better, or for worse.​
