Cato Neimoidian Purple Part I: Bloody Zhellday

Zrimmir had convened the best, not just the best, the best of the best. For good reason. Zrimmir was enacting phase one of his plan, Bloody Zhellday. The Commenori Systems Alliance no longer had any influence on Cato Neimoidia, the planet had seceded. With the government reform, Zrimmir had become the leading Corporate Councilman for his party, the Commerce party. Zrimmir was not content with being a leading politician in Cato Neimoidian government, he wanted it all. The elections were soon, and the Machinist party had had control over the Congress of the Territories, the Vicecory of the Territories, and the Corporate Council during the interim between CSA and the Merchant Federation.

Zrimmir's plan was simple, take down the political bloc held up by the Zarra Syndicate, put the Commerce's Party current viceroyal candidate in Zrimmir's employ, and finally, take out any opposition to that candidate, allowing for an easy election. The first step would be by far the most violent. Which is why he had hired several Bounty Hunters. Using his new GenoHaradan contacts, some names given to him by the Bareesh Kajidic, and a few other underworld info sources he had hired these gunmen.

[member="Koda Fett"], the infamous Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, known not just for his ability to always get his man, but for his unforgettable armor, rumored to be that worn by Boba Fett.

[member="Ghorua the Shark"], the Herglic Beast whose former blood lust is legendary in the Coruscanti under belly.

[member="Ursula Vizla"], Commander Zero, a Mandalorian whose name is only spoken in quiet tones in the Unknown Regions, for good reason.

[member="Wenwynig"], a Symbosys, a monster that can't be stopped, with a willingness to kill that is unfathomable to most sentients.

Finally, Rundo Diniz, a Korunnai hunter whose shot is always quick and true. A gunman of Zrimmir's own employ.

They would all arrive soon, in a warehouse towards the outskirts of one of the city bridges of Zarra. Zrimmir couldn't wait.

The Mandalorian was recently brought into the ranks of the enigmatic, shadow organisation that happened to be the GenoHaradan. Promises of wealth beyond his wildest dreams had been made, and fulfilled. They kept him aboard, for now. Perhaps he came suggested to the Neimoidian, for whenever you required carefully considered mayhem and relentless efficiency you called upon the Bounty Hunter who rest at the top of their unspoken leaderboard. To his knowledge, however, Zrimmir had no dealings with the GenoHaradan. For they adored secrecy more than most, now didn't they?

His booted feet collided with the flooring beneath his feet with each and every step, creating a soft echo that rebounded off of the warehouse all around him. Certainly nowhere near as loud as that of Ghorua the Shark. That old fish had it in for Fett, but who didn't? Especially with that pricy bounty sitting atop his head. Perhaps he could hope for some professional courtesy if nothing else.

Ultimately arriving within the designated area within the company of Zrimmir. His back to a wall, still as a statue with his Carbine resting within his grip. Alert and untrusting.

As a rule, Ghorua didn't attack other hunters on the job. He was a remnant of the glory days of the Bounty Hunter's Guild, and believed in the camaraderie of the hunt. Now that he had been hired onto the GenoHaradan, he decided to make it a point not to harm any of his fellow bounty hunters, no matter the grudge.

That didn't mean he wasn't tempted to clock [member="Koda Fett"] upside the head.

Ghorua walked into the warehouse, his obnoxiously high-tech armor giving away it's wearer, the weapons littered on his body giving away his profession. Once he got within the door, he took off his helmet, showing his face to the world.

He raised an eyebrow at Koda, looking at a specific spot on Fett's helmet.

"Nice dent," he rumbled, as if sharing an inside joke with the warrior.

Commenor's leader, [member="Lady Kay"], was his ally, his friend. He believed she was doing good work, and wouldn't do anything to go against her or her little slice of the galaxy. But when Cato Neimoidia seceded, and his new secretive employers took a special interest, the planet had forfeited itself to the Shark's wrath.

Besides, he needed the money. Upkeep doesn't pay itself.

Ghorua's deep black eyes observed the area, and the people within, simply gathering information. A small grin broke his face, the sharp teeth within glinting in the minimal light.

Despite present company, the Shark might enjoy this job.

Wenwynig had be hired by some sort of secretive organisation. He hadn't heard of them before but then one couldn't be a secretive organisation if just anyone had heard of you. The mission was interesting, there was some new government for Cato Neimoidia, something that wasn't interesting to Wenwynig, however, the mission of hunting and killing other politicians for creds, that was interesting. Mostly due to the fact that Wenwynig loved murdering anyone, but politicians tended to be such boring people, cutting their throats was the only way to make them stop talking and enjoy yourself. At least in Wenwynig's mind that was.

The assassin reached the meeting point third, two others were there, some sort of shark-like creature and the popular Koda Fett, Wenwynig saw this as an opportunity to watch and assess the Hunter, the price on his head was quite considerable. However, Wenwynig knew better than to cause a fight while on mission, this was not the first time he had to work with others. His appearance was his most intimidating version of himself, gigantic in height, his long claws were razor sharp and his teeth were small daggers that were able to rip flesh with ease. Wenwynig felt no need to hide what he thought of as his true form.

Approaching the group, the symbosys looked at the others. Not saying a word, he wasn't talkative, he just rather get on with things than trade words.

Zrimmir, smiled, his bounty hunters had arrived.

Without delay, he started into his little presentation,

"I'm so please you all could make it. Let me start off by saying that the first half of all your fees have already been wired to your bank accounts, as your second half will be coming when you complete the mission of course. Without any delay, let us begin a little review over the situation I would hope you could all fix."

Zrimmir activated his floor projector with a flick of his hand,

"This fellow is Nup Igab, Kami, gang laeder for those who don't speak Pak-Pak, of the Zarra Syndicate. Normally I wouldn't waste my time with such low-income scum such as him, but the Zarra Syndicate has a monopoly in the newly minted Merchant Federation of Cato Neimoidia, with the wrong party of course. I wish for you to eliminate him, and his headquarters, sending the syndicate into a laeder-less chaos and allow for me and the Commerce party to clean up in next month's elections."

The image changed to a skyscraper, hanging upside down from a city bridge,

"This is their headquarters, as you already know. Greenlin Tower. You'll take a skiff and infiltrate the building from their lowest floor, security will be tight but it is our only option with the least amount of casualties. From there, Mr. Diniz over here will lead you through the thirty floors to the top level, where the tower's foundations are laid and Igab himself is undoubtedly conducting his business. His arrogance is legendary, he won't leave until you've exhausted most of his gunmen and defenses, but you must be quick for he is a runner. Once you've eliminated him, you will place charges at the base of the tower on the top floor, ensure not one brick remains on that city bridge. You must complete both objectives, or else the Machinist Party might be able to keep their political bloc."

Zrimmir took a deep breath before continuing,

"Although you should have already read this in your data packages I have sent, I will repeat your individual roles for my own sake. Ghorua, you're porter and muscle. You'll be carrying the charges and busting through any defenses or defenders my spies may not have been able to identify. Wenwynig, you will be our assassin, make sure Igab is properly dealt with, and bring me back something to identify you weren't tricked by a double. Fett and Diniz, you'll be gunmen, protect Ghorua and Wenwynig at all costs, you're my best shots, the Syndicate shouldn't have anyone to rival you."

Zrimmir changed the image one last time, now to profiles of weaponry, gunmen, and other defenses,

"My spies in the syndicate have informed of these defensive measures the syndicate headquarters hold. Automatic point-defense blasters, blast doors, even ray shielding at some points. Most of the defenders will be two-bit outer rim species with a gun, however they do boast some antique Uulshos Justice Droids, which may prove some difficulty. You best be quick, as the Zarra Syndicate has many allies within Zarra, including heavy gunmen and attack speeders."

Finally, he turned the projector off and the blue light that had reflected against all the participants disappeared. Zrimmir turned and nodded to Diniz and said,

"That is all, I wish you all the best luck on your hunt."

Rundo had been leaning against the wall, smoking a Cigarra with his long brimmed hat over his eyes. He hadn't been listening, being Zrimmir's own bounty hunter on retainer he had heard this whole brief a few times, he didn't feel like going over it again. He had the building's layout memorized, something he never liked to do.

Given his signal, he stood up and nodded to the other three,

"Skiff here, we go."

The skiff had been waiting the entire time, Rundo just had a loose grasp on galactic basic. They would leave now, Zrimmir didn't want them to question, so Rundo wouldn't let them. The Korunnai led the bunch to a skiff that was not fifty meters away, that and the ride to the tower would give them ample time to think it over.

Camaraderie? A lie. The Bounty Hunter was entirely certain that there was nobody in the Galaxy you could truly trust, especially not in the lucrative industry that the two of them had found themselves within. Either someone crosses you, or you cross them. Fett always preferred to be the one that acted first, and so his reputation among fellow bounty hunters wasn't an entirely honest one. However, in those times he had turned on another Hunter? It was justified, be sure of that. He didn't waste his time dealing with those that dared to dream themselves more than they were worth. Perhaps his most notable act against another Hunter, or Hunters, was his most recent. Carida had turned into a dangerous cluster of eight combatants. Fett had his claim, and they intruded. After all, they should know better.

His response to Ghorua had been nothing but a glare from Visor to Eyes. He seemed... taller than Fett remembered. Strange.

Koda had simply stood in silence throughout Zrimmer's explanation of events. There was nothing entirely worth saying in that moment, and so nothing was. At least on his end. A single nod, however, was sent in the Neimoidian's direction upon mentioning his assigned task. It was fitting, truly. Not an incredible large man, nor an alien capable of infiltrating the most secure of places. At the end of the day, Koda Fett was nothing more than a man with thick armour who knew his way around a fair few pieces of weaponry.

In the end, he had followed Rundo in the direction of the skiff. This was going to prove a much simpler job when someone as large as the Herglic was there to tank the firepower. Even amusing, to some degree.

[member="Ghorua the Shark"] - [member="Wenwynig"] - [member="Melvand Zrimmir"]

Ghorua narrowed his eyes at the silence between himself and [member="Koda Fett"], sensing the hostile tension between them. He had always generally been a light-hearted individual, who liked his jokes, but he knew when to get serious. What he didn't understand was people who could be nothing other than serious.

Only so much tension until the string snaps.

The Shark noted the appearance of [member="Wenwynig"], looking over the being with a critical eye. The creature was very large, sinewy and bulky, with a scent Ghorua's acute sense of smell had never detected before. Ghorua gave a thin-lipped nod to the beast, also noting the lack of a greeting. Another serious hunter.

At least Ghorua would have all the one-liner's to himself.

The thought was short lived before it was dissipated by [member="Melvand Zrimmir"], and his speech. The structure of Neimoidian cities made this job complicated. Nevertheless, he nodded sagely, taking in all this information, and categorizing it for later use.

The plan had already been made, and it was a good one. No need to make alterations. He'd rely on his enemy and this man he'd never met to watch his back, while the assassin fought one obese man and his goon squad, and Ghorua would take down a building.

A solid plan, as far as solid went.

Ghorua walked to the speeder, and stepped on, keeping his mouth shut for now. He placed his helmet on his head, and a hand on his sword, feeling a wave of confidence overtake him.

He'd demolished buildings for less.

As the skiff sped through the quiet skies of Cato Neimoidia, Rundo turned to the other two bounty hunters. He'd read the dossiers Zrimmir had given him on the two. To Rundo, they were nothing but vessels, vessels which he would use to complete this mission. Although their reputations did impress him, being in the bounty hunting business had worn him from making any 'business' relationships outside of client and service provider.

"Remember," Rundo said. "Killer," Rundo pointed at [member="Koda Fett"], "Boom man." Rundo pointed towards [member="Ghorua the Shark"], then finally jerked his thumb towards himself, "Cover."

Then, the Korunnai turned his gaze back to the site they were passing. The skiff was nearing arrival.
