SPECIAL FEATURES
- Target Identification Network (TIN): Used for navigation on the battlefield.
- Communication: Housed in the the main compartment of the tank, a Tank Commander of a given crew can communicate through audio or holographic display to allied troops through conventional signals.
- Escape Hatch: In battle, if the tank is compromised, crew in the main compartment of the tank (not the turret) can use this hatch to escape beneath the tank.
- Flexible Gun Mounts: For supplementary armaments, the mounts present at the rear surface of the tank's turret are capable of allowing numerous heavy arms to be mounted by tank crews to allow flexibility during battle.
- Agility: While the tank is not the most heavily armored in the galaxy, it is designed for speed and maneuverability on the battlefield.
- Relatively Cheap: For situations when a tank is destroyed or in need of repair, the materials used, and the methods of construction, were decided on how inexpensively those issues could be resolved.
- Easy Maintenance: The tank is designed to use simple and cheap parts that are easy to find in most systems allowing for easy repair and maintenance.
- Flexible: Much of the tank's features are utilized to allow tank crews to have as many methods as possible to adapt to challenges in battle.
- Flak Usage: With blasters commonly used across the galaxy, the tank's Flak Cannon brings a creative workaround to energy shields and other defensive equipment more designed for lasers.
- Light: The tank's light armor compared to other models found in the galaxy makes it easier to put out of commission, if not destroy.
- Treads: While simple and easy to repair compared to repulsor lifts, the tank's form of transportation limits the terrain it is capable of traversing compared to other tanks found in the galaxy.
- Simple: The tank's simplicity makes it easy to maintain, repair, and produce, but also means that there is limited advanced systems which is something a technologically savvy foe could exploit.
- Loud: This tank is by no means stealthy with the amount of noise it makes when operating.
(Describe some of the histories behind the submission. Give us some idea of how it might perform its function, what it excels against and what some limitations of it are. This is where you talk about your idea, flesh it out over at least a good-sized paragraph, and address some of the ways it might be used or abused. For especially powerful or ambitious submissions, a very thorough description is recommended.)
