BIG Z1776
Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Designed as a standard-issue blaster pistol across the entirety of the Crossroads Republic's military personnel. Each and every serviceman carries this weapon when on duty, a lesson learned from the long-running wargames which have taught CRAF that rear area personnel need a weapon which can put down potentially superior opponents which will inevitably slip through to the rear areas to launch precision raids against high value targets. This weapon was designed for the specific purpose of being easy to use for non-combat personnel and able to punch through special forces' high-grade armor in one shot, because against special forces a clerk of a communications officer may only get one shot, so their weapon needed to be able to make that shot count. And the CDF-10 is the weapon that lets every shot count. It therefore made sense that this weapon was to be issued across the military and by now the old but reliable and effective weapon has been produced in massive numbers, meaning that all combat soldiers, vehicle crew, rear-area support personnel, pilots, and ship crewmen all have one of these pistols to fall back on in an emergency when they need a weapon that can do the job of saving their lives when only one shot can make the difference between life and death. RPers however must remember that if they choose to have this weapon out for an extended period they will soon find that their weapon will simply click empty as they exhaust its moderate power charge, and without training its recoil may be too much for inexperienced or weak characters to handle as the weapon was designed.
