Resistance Ratings Extreme will require the submission to be Semi-Unique. This Resistance Rating is considered very strong and are usually dealing with unique items that should be restricted to Player Characters only.
    • Energy: Very High
    • Kinetic: Very High
    • Lightsabers: Very Low
    • Other:
      • Impact: High
      • EM: Very Low
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Built with an outer layer being a spaced electric reactive armor plate with both plates being supercharged by opposite electric charges creating a powerful capacitor, and when a kinetic penetrators goes through the plates and connects the circuit a powerful charge is sent into the penetrator in an effort to vaporize it or turn into plasma, significantly decreasing the power of the weapon. This electric charge going off can also disperse concentrated plasma jets by overpowering its EM containment field.
  • The inner layer is a shaped-charge detonite blocks with a durasteel shell which is angled back and forth to disrupt an incoming projective and having a rubber face to protect it from the electrically charged electric reactive section. When something penetrates past the electric reactive outer plates and penetrates the outer plate of the explosive section the detonite block goes off and is designed to impart energy into the projectile and diffuse its own energy and to break up a shaped charge penetrating jet before it hits the main armor.
  • Once struck, it will need to be replaced in the rear, and this is a simple process of sliding in a new block.
STRENGTHS
  • Very effective against rockets, smaller railgun projectiles, and particle and plasma cannon blasts up to a light turbolaser or a heavy cannon.
  • Can be produced in different sizes and shapes.
  • Easily-replaced
  • Cheap and easy to make.
  • Can be added to any vehicle large enough to handle the weight.
WEAKNESSES
  • Quite heavy.
  • Larger railgun projectiles can maybe get through depending on the impact angle.
  • Not going to be able to shrug off a powerful particle or large proton cannon blast.
  • One-and-done use
  • Dangerous for infantry nearby the vehicle when one of these defensive blocks goes off.
DESCRIPTION
A Crossroads Defense Industries special, this defensive add-on is available for sale to anyone who may want them. Designed to be easily attached and easily replaced this defensive component is an excellent add-on for an armored vehicle which expects to be struck by lots of different weapons. These blocks are able to be custom-produced to different sizes and shapes but the balance of them is having a powerful enough charge, electric and explosive, to ward off an attack, but not one that is too large to leave vulnerable points on the hull when it gets hit. This means the average block size for the CRAF's vehicles is a foot wide and two feet tall when placed onto a vehicle's hull. RPers need to be aware that this component is attached to the vehicle and the RPer who is using the vehicle needs to be aware of what kind of projectile is hitting the blocks and at what sort of angle.
