BIG Z1776
Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
A man-portable device which is often plugged into vehicles and into facilities to assist in protecting them against sabotage and attack from remote-operated mines and explosives. It was formed as a result of RCIED's being used against CRAF forces. With advanced multi-spectrum jamming transmitters it can keep a wide array of frequencies from being transmitted with the detonation codes for a large array of explosives. It takes a transmitter of superior transmitting power to overcome this, and due to the size of this device and the power it transmits its jamming frequencies very, very few "clackers" (The military term for a device which triggers an explosive) can match them, especially when plugged into a base power generator. But, they are vulnerable unless housed inside a protective case, which only exists in CRAF vehicles and bases.
- Intent: To create a jammer to assist in protecting troops, vehicles, and facilities of the Crossroads Republic Armed Forces
- Image Source: Based on the THOR III IED Jammer built by Sierra Nevada Corp

- Can jam almost any remote-detonated explosive or detonator which is detonated wirelessly.
- Can be plugged into any CRAF vehicle or base with the proper power cords, this additional power can enlarge and increase the effectiveness of this device.
- When unplugged it can operate effectively within fifty meters of the device for a week of constant use.
- Can jam remote-detonated explosives and mines.
- Light for such a device.
- Can have its range enlarged with additional power.
- Expensive.
- Fragile.
- Completely ineffective if it is damaged.
