BIG Z1776
Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
A droid designed for the explicit purpose of being a large killer watch-dog of defense for military bases and sensitive infrastructure as well as being the first line of defense in their cities where troops may not be able to meet an enemy before they can establish a beachhead. These droids possess extensive behavioral pattern analysis, allowing them to be the first-line security droids that they were slated to be. They are therefore capable of detecting a potential saboteur and then if the saboteur tries to resist the droid is usually able to handle them quite handily, and if it isn't others in its operating section will respond to reinforce and sound a general alarm. In frontline service these droids are up-gunned and up-armored. Model 1 droids are usually assigned to infantry companies and infantry battalions, a dozen of them per company under the command of the company commander and usually these droids guard company command posts and there's thirty-six droids in battalion-assigned units under battalion command, and usually are guard and patrol duty in and around the battalion command post. The Model 2 droids are assigned in substantial numbers as well, with identical numbers assigned to companies and battalions. There are also more independent droid units, platoon-sized forces with Model 1 and Model 2 Sentinels which are assigned to bases, logistics centers, and as supplements to frontline forces. Security models and those aboard ships vary from facility to facility and ship to ship. However their abilities are not infallible, and they are destroyed by powerful weapons.
