BIG Z1776
Baboon with a MAAWS
OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
The bread and butter of the Crossroads Republic Army Green Force units who face off against Crossroads Republic Army Red and Blue Forces as the simulated asymmetric opponents. They are custom-built copies of commercial vehicles that had been encountered by Crossroads military forces in use by insurgents and terrorists across their sectors of patrol. The vehicles are built with receptors to simulate hits from weapons of all types set to a training setting and shut down systems as hits are catalogued. Repairs are simulated quite well for those who seek to get them back into the fight before they are reset. They have safety mechanisms that prevents a speeder from running over people or hitting objects, with powerful reverse thrusters linked to proximity sensors that activate when approaching an object or person.

- Built with hit-point receptors and a computer for simulating hits from training-setting weaponry.
- Built in several dozen speeder models with improvised materials produced to go along with them.
- Built with safety mechanisms to protect the drivers and passengers as well as bystanders.
- Cheap due to the lack of armor, fire control systems, or sensors.
- Fast, able to move quickly in small spaces where larger armored vehicles cannot follow.
- Reliable, able to be reused after reactivation, designed to be shot at by some fairly large weapons and protect the driver, gunners, and passengers from the dangers experienced in training.
- A training vehicle meant to replicate an improvised fighting vehicle, not designed to go into actual combat.
- The weapons it carries have no built-in fire controls systems, it is almost entirely based on dead reckoning aiming.
- Can be easily disabled by an ion-type weapon.
