Ru Comet was in his quarters, idling, in the Coruscant Spaceport. He was laying upside down on his cot while throwing a ball at the ceiling. Whenever it would bounce back he'd catch it and throw it upward again. He did this for several more minutes until his datapad screamed to life "MEESA GO BYE BYE!" screamed the datapad in a Gungan's voice. Ru jerked around and fell off his bed, zipped up, and grabbed the data pad as it began to scream again "MEESA G-" it was a contract from one Ryv Karis to take a Tier 1 shipment from Coruscant to PL-40112-CE-021105 destined for an Allyson Locke "Nice, uhhh" he peered at the contract as it had him passing through an active warzone. He hesitated for a moment then looked up "This is my moment! You got this Comet! Just like Julius Loghain you have Dragon Energy." Ru Comet looked to the mirror in his room, it had a picture of Julius Loghain giving a thumbs up. The Spacer shot a finger-gun at the bombastic Senator's picture "Dragon Energy."

Ru briskly walked out onto his ship's ramp and waved at a Spaceport cargoman "Come on dude! I don't have all day, give me package." Ru made grabby hands with both his arms "Come, come, come." the worker hesitantly gave him his package as the impatient pilot snatched it away, spinning on his heel, and swiftly walking back into his ship. The ramp slammed shut. Within seconds he was in the air, hovering, ascended through the vertical landing cylinder of the spaceport. Ru Comet grabbed his accelerator lever and began to slowly push it forward until he was clear of airspeeder traffic, then punched it. The starship blazed through the atmosphere until it reached space. Ru turned to his navigational terminal and entered the flight plan to waypoint him "PL-47891AurekBesh- whatever! Here I come!" he reached out and rubbed the head of an Agrippa The Hutt bobble head, causing it to sway. Simultaneously entering hyperspace, the force of it pushing him back into his seat "Woooo!" he put both arms up as this was his favorite part.

Entering realspace near Brentaal IV, Phase 2, Ru breathed out a sigh of excitement as he maneuvered the ship into position to merge into the Hydian Way. Speeding past a sector security patrol ship he was hailed "Pilot! Decrease sub-light speed! You are entering a dange-" Ru poked the button which caused his radio to turn off. Ru Comet wasn't going to listen to 'slow down' orders by a whiny rent-a-ranger. Drifting into alignment to enter the Hydian Way, the patrol vessel cruised towards Ru's ship, looking out the window he waved at the sector security patrol while his other hand pushed the throttle for hyperspace forward. In a blink Ru Comet was on his way down the Hydian Way destined for Cathar.

Dropping out of hyperspace, Ru Comet, beheld the gorgeous planet of Cathar. Every planet looked amazing from orbit, and he could assume that the people below were living rather interesting lives under The Sith Empire. With the Hydian Way behind him, and half way through his journey, he decided to set an autopilot course for alignment. Unbuckling from his seat the courier went into the lobby of his starship and looked at the package. A single package? A Tier 1 at that! He probably should've waited for a few more orders before leaving Coruscant "Ah well... maybe they'll leave a good review on the holonet terminal? Great service! Ru Comet is the best!" he smirked to himself as he imagined what a glowing review he would receive. Ru picked up the package and walked to the cargo hold, and placed the package down in otherwise empty cargobay.

Ru made his way back into the cockpit and sat down in the seat, gripping the controls, he slid the hyperdrive actuator forward. Realspace blurred into a series of continuous lines which had once been the bright points of starlight. The YT-1780 zipped through the Braxant Run, the longest leg of his journey, while the pilot leaned his chair back and pulled out his datapad. He began checking the status updates of various high powered politicians and ads for gag gifts from Whimsy "Nice." he grinned as he looked over some of the offerings of the various arm dealing companies advertising their blasters. They were pretty pricey that was for sure!

"No, no, no!" he grabbed the controls frantically and pulled himself out of hyperspace. He had nearly missed his stop at Echoy'la! Had he went all the way to Bastion... that could've been a really poor choice! He hadn't ever met a Sith but the stories of what they had done on Nar Shaddaa did not leave him excited to meet one. He looked around at the navigational terminal then narrowed his eyes "Oh you've got to be karking me. This isn't on a hyperlane! That should've been another 5 percent!" Ru folded his arms "Cheapskate!" he huffed and turned freighter towards PL-40112-CE-021105. Ru Comet would get that extra 5% someday if not today. Luckily for him the Sith Armada was busy with the Eternal Empire, and he entered hyperspace unhindered.
