BIOGRAPHY:
Cecil is the oldest child of Feena and a man named Alek Verdikis. He has never really known his blood father, but has grown up calling Keter Mason his father, which is why he says his last name is Mason and not Verdikis. The result of this is inconsequential as it is only his mother and Keter that are in his life aside from his little sisters. When he was newly born, his mother tried to take him outside, but as soon as he entered the sunlight he started screaming and his flesh began to turn a reddish color. He was quickly diagnosed with the disease Porphyria. Essentially, he's allergic to the sun.
Because he could not go outside like everyone else, he dove into books and anything he could get his hands on to learn or to venture to other worlds. He devoured books so quickly that it was all he could do not to become bored with them. It was quickly discovered that he possessed genius level intelligence. Often he would play hide and seek with his family. He was always the best hider because he was able to contort his body to squeeze into the most unlikely places. Helps to be able to hide from people, especially when you think that fighting is stupid, barbaric, and should be outlawed.
He continues to study, and only goes outside at night!
