PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Cerys is young, pale of skin and slender of frame. She does not look particularly strong, nor does she cary herself with an imposing gait. Her most prominent features are brilliantly blue eyes, and long flowing blonde hair that falls free to the small of her back. Her facial structure is delicate, yet with an air of regal beauty.

She dresses in the Silver-blue and copper colours of her order at all times. She is rarely seen not wearing her full Jedi regalia, which in her case she has chosen to include only modest attire.

PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Cerys holds to teachings from an offshoot sect of the Jedi Order. Instead of believing that the Jedi Order of old had been to strict when it came to attachments like the modern Jedi Orer does, she was taught that they had been too lax. As a result, she has taken a solemn vow of celibacy and detachment from all relationships. She treats all with the same compassion and respect with only the actions of the individual creating any deviation. Should they endanger lives, she will become the wrongdoers enemy and confront them. She will not, however, form heart strung attachments with those that she saves, nor the lives of her fellow Jedi.

HISTORY

Cerys’ elder sister was kidnapped by pirates and ripped from their idyllic home on Dantooine. Cerys had loved her sister dearly and the loss drove her to a deep depression. When a Jedi Master arrived months later, and offered for her to walk a unique path of the Jedi, one free of attachment and the pain associated with loss, she readily accepted.

The teachings of Master En-Vada became her life. The Jedi Master was always distant though, and never showed affection for her young student, but such was their way. In the recent attack on Coruscant, Master En-Vada was killed. While this may have been a blow for some Jedi, Cerys is well enough ingrained in the ideology to not have taken the blow to heart. With a need to complete her training, and Master En-Vada not leaving any way to contact the rest of her sect, Cerys must approach the modern Jedi Order with the hopes of completing her training and becoming a true Jedi Knight.

She knows it will not be easy though, for the modern Jedi Order has wondered far from the pure path of Light. She hopes to gain a little wisdom, to pick at the scraps, to selectively learn, and earn her Knighthood so that she may continue the Order that gave her freedom.
