Description: The Champion Jedi Armor was designed for the mobility required of a Knight of the Republic while also providing basic resistances required in the heat of battle. Designed by the Jedi Order itself, using resources given to it by the Republic, the Jedi Armor had substantial protection against heat sources. This is especially useful when grenades might be exploding near the Jedi during battle. Not only that, but the armor provides basic protection against wear and tear. The Jedi using the armor could move and abuse the armor at extreme rates yet still have it be functional while a normal Jedi tunic would have been torn to shreds.
The mask of the Jedi Armor protected the Jedi's face to a reasonable amount. However, the helmet could also be taken off if preferred by the Jedi using the armor.
The flexibility of the Jedi Armor allowed for optimal use of the Force on the Jedi's part. A major drawback of extremely heavy armor was usually that the Jedi found him or herself struggling to use the Force. Yet for this Jedi Armor, it would be close to as if the Jedi was wearing a normal Jedi tunic.
While the Jedi Armor could not resist direct fire or explosions at extremely close range, it could protect the wearer from debris that might scrape the skin if blown. Provided that the Jedi was nimble and properly used his or her lightsaber in deflecting life threatening shots, the Jedi Armor would serve its purpose.
