Private Change Happens

The way of the force is not often known by anyone, the way it shifted and turned guiding where it would. How often is it looked upon as a tool meant to be wielded and used for a singular purpose.

Rianna could feel it around her, through her and softly whispering to her a state that had taken sometime to achieve. The simple twist of her hand and she was able to call for the plant life around her. Good thing she had this garden. But where she had excelled was the healing arts.

The ability to combine projective telepathy with far seeing had been a breakthrough in her training that she had not expected. Even now to reach the state of farseeing took a few moments of absolute focus. But farseeing was not to be taken for granted for everything was fluid and therefore subject to change.

Plants now they were the great joy of her age. The beauty in watching something grow from a small tiny easily damaged seedling into a healthy plant took time and patience that Rianna had lots of these days. Maeve was off helping the Mandalorians, Dral was out wondering like a nomad of old and Rianna was a widow who had returned to what she knew best, the peace of being a Jedi Healer.

She taught classes on Alderaan at the temple in the mountains for any who would come and then looked after the garden. She had not taste for life at court except for when her niece asked advice. The recent trip to Fondor made Rianna realize that perhaps there was something she could still do.

And Maeve did ask her to look into food sources for the Outer Rim. This she could do.

For now she wanted to meditate and clear her mind, find focus in the world around her.

Meditation required a calming of the mind to clear every thought from it except for the thought of peace. Rianna found herself crosslegged on the ground her face turned toward the skies as she drew in each breath to a point where she could only hear her heartbeat there she found quiet.

The galaxy slipped away into the darkness as each of her muscles relaxed, she turned her attention to the force warm welcoming like quicksilver it wrapped around her.

The power of the force joined with each fiber of her being reminding her of their relationship that without it there were so many 'magical' things Rianna could not do, but with it she was powerful capable of many things that appeared to be beyond the average person.

Here she sat communing with the force learning of what may happen, if she chose to look forward.

The darkness moved about the galaxy touching one place than another till it once more rested over Alderaan. What did this mean, she did not know. What was happening in the privacy of the powers that could influence such movement.

It was difficult tosee at the moment so many voices, so many actions but in the end for now the darkness was moving towards them.

Rianna opened her eyes what to do next? What she saw today could change tomorrow, but in her mind she knew it was a matter of time. But how much time, how far into the future was the vision.

She so loved her little cottage here in the Glarus Valley that she had shared with Ordo in the early days of the marriage. The garden, the flowers, and of course finding Edee. Edee was an old girl like her now, the two of them took naps at the same time, walked at the same time, and often sat pondering the thranta as they hovered nearby.

Rianna was growing old. She knew from all that had gone on that her time was coming. But first she must make sure that the family was safe.
