Hi Guys! It was brought to my attention that the Company forum needed some love. So to condense and provide a one stop thread for ALL company rules and template along with Canon company information. I've done some editing!

Would it be possible to do comp vs comp or army vs army wide battles with rival comps? Like full scale war against other comps and claim planets / territories and what not. ( I imagine like clone wars ep 2 big or battlefront mod with 328 peep big but x infinity )

Yes. You can do this. As companies may control fleets of very specific sizes. However, only Major Factions can occupy and influence territory. Any claim, conquest, or dominion made otherwise is simply "fluff", "story", or "a gentlemen's agreement" between players. Whole companies have moved headquarters and factories to get away from territory concerns may times.

[member="Jay Scott Clark"] ah thank you, because the way I was viewing companies was like a guild of sorts. Like a faction but you are not tied to them.

[member="jbsnv"] Companies are similar to Factions, but are most often made into private kingdoms by single individuals. Rather than groups of people. It's one of the reasons why their private armies are kept so small. We like to funnel all or PvP into the Major Factions. That way we don't have 1000 Company Armies all controlled by singular writers.

But yeah. If you want to skirmish with other Companies? Do et. Corporate Espionage can be a very fun idea to pursue in RP.

Companies are manufacturers most often, though can be 'guilds' in terms of being service companies and mercenary groups. The vast majority of companies are generally weapons, droids, vehicle, or starship manufacturers.

[member="jbsnv"] Everything [member="Jay Scott Clark"] said. Also yeah [member="Isis Varida"] that was the main reason why i streamlined everything so its just easier to just manage in general glad its getting positive reviews so far.

This was a much-needed clean up. Especially concerning the production of ships for shipwrights and company tier. I've always had trouble finding those.
