Change of pace..

Sophia was with the Republic somewhat but not really. She felt happier, free up in the air flying and exploring the galaxy. No matter how many times she attempted to settle back in Sophia found herself to be restless. It only served to make Sophia miss and remember all of the good times she had back on her planet. It was better she stay away from the different temples. She was jaded from a great many things and her commentary was not what the temple needed.

Sighing Sophia leaned against the ship as she awaited the arrival of Fletcher whom was supposed to be her Padawan. She was doing this as a favor for someone she knew and maybe a little for herself. The plan was...well, there was no plan but to teach him and show him things. Things that sitting at the temple wouldn't teach him.

Fletcher approached Sophia once he spotted her and stopped in front of her, smiling. "Hi, I'm guessing you're Sophia?" he said, half statement, half question. He hadn't heard a lot about her other than that she was a master and subsequently, his master. "Oh I'm Fletcher Lorcan." he added quickly though she probably already knew. The Padawan realised he probably should have taken a more formal approach but it was too late by now. He was never really nervous meeting new people, it was more that his mind tended to race.

"Yes, please Fletcher. Come closer, I don't bite." She smiled as she stood up away from the wall. She couldn't blame him for being nervous after all Sophia would be his second master of sorts. "I'm Jedi Master Captain Sophia Walsh." It didn't matter that she was no longer in the Navy. Ana would always be a Captain in her eyes and besides she was captain of this ship always.

"I was thinking we would do something different and not in the temple when it comes to training. I was thinking we could go on several adventures outside of the comforts of home out in the real galaxy. Its the best place to learn. What do you think?"

Fletcher smiled and walked towards her. It was strange to be having another master, but it was always nice to meet new people and to bond with them. "You fly?" he asked, before realising it was completely out of context and probably made no sense whatsoever. "I mean, you can fly ships?" he asked, rephrasing his question.

"Yes!" he said rather too enthusiastically before toning it down. "I never learn much at the temple, it's not as practical as the real world." he said casually before nodding in agreement. "It's the the only place to learn, for me at least."

"Yes, I fly ships. I used to be a Captain in the Republic Navy long ago." Sophia truly missed that, it had been a much simpler time back than. If she could go back, Sophia would do it in a heart beat. She felt as if she had taken her relationship with Turin for granted when now she knew he had and would always be her everything. Even now when he was so far away but it was too late to tell him any of that.

"Well, if your ready hop on board and we will take off. I may even show you a little about flying." It was good for Sophia to get back out there in the galaxy after all that had happened.

"That's so... cool." Fletcher said, trying to choose his words carefully. He looked up at the ship and stared for a moment, it wasn't exactly the most exquisite looking object but it was still interesting nonetheless. He hadn't particularly gotten to know someone who could fly a ship before, and even then he didn't often go on a ship like this. Most of his time was spent on Ossus and had been for the last seven years, but he wanted to change that.

The Padawan smiled at her and got on board. "Thanks!" he called to her.

Sophia was happy to hear that he was so willing to go along with things. It was much different than what she was used to. Her crew would always complain to her about what they were doing and where they were going.

After he entered the ship Sophia followed right behind him onto the ship. If she was truly going to prepare him she would take him into the lion's den. "Please make yourself at home. We will be off soon. Where have you been in this big wide galaxy?"
