Thank you to Jasper Kai'el and Kassogtha Cthylla for your kind words and nominations! And thank you to our boy Brandyn Sal-Soren for organizing this. It’s been a crazy month lol but this was lovely to see.

What is your favourite food to eat?
Right now I'm on a ramen kick. For Cora, she's a solid tea enthusiast.

What would your character's favorite Star Wars trilogy be?
She'd probably like the prequels on account of Anakin and Padme's tortured relationship. Lady Velvet would absolutely eat that up.

Where did the community brain cell go?

Maybe the brain cell was the real friendship we found along the way.

If you could put your character in any other era of Star Wars history, what time period would it be and why?
I don't know a heck of a lot about the different eras, but I think she'd do well as a High Republic type. The lofty position of the Jedi would play well into her noble sensibilities as a self-perceived "guardian of the people."

Reign of the Empire would be a guilty pleasure of mine because it would be fun to see how she'd try to adapt to a life on the run, essentially.

Where do you see the character in five IC years?
One endgame that I've always left open for Cora would be to ascend the throne as Queen of Ukatis (her homeworld). Not sure if she'd be there in 5 IC years exactly, but maybe!

If your character was a plant what type would it be and why?

Foxglove. Elegant, but toxic.

Which obscure Star Wars species is your favorite? Can be sentient or non-sentient.
Vintians have held a special place in my heart ever since I learned about them. Who doesn't love a good sentient rock?

From what or who do you find the most inspiration to write this character?
Fire Emblem Three Houses. Three of the most obnoxious aristocratic characters had a competition to see who among them was the most noble, and thus, my inspiration for Cora was born.

What is the one type of character do you think that you struggle to write the most?
I've always wanted to write a proper darksider, but I have a hard time getting them off the ground. Farah was the only Sith I wrote with any consistency for a period of time, but today I can’t quite get her to stick. Maybe that will be my next project haha.
