Discussion Character of the Month Nominations - September Edition

Hey all!

As stated by Brandyn Sal-Soren here, he unfortunately cannot continue doing character of the month nominations. And I figured, why not take up the mantle while he is away since it is a really cool idea and highlights great characters.

So, here are the rules exactly the same as from the August nominations:

• Nominate a character that is not of your writing that has impressed you in the last month.
• Give the reasons why.
  • Please include thread links for others to see why you love the character so much.
• You may nominate someone that has already been nominated, they will be listed once in the voting stage and the reasons combined into one.
• This is for In Character stuff.
• During the nomination step, you must ask the winner a question for your nomination to count. Yes, that means in this thread, along with the nomination also put a question for the eventual winner, ya scamp.
• Character must have been active in the last month to qualify, would be great if you would keep it to the last months exploits too.
• Characters can only win once.
• One week to nominate. Approximately.

* Character may not reign as Character of the Month for an exact month. You will live.

OOC, What's your favorite quirk about your character that you don't get to use very often?

It is once again time for me to nominate Alicio Organa for character of the month.

September has seen him post in the Taris dominion, doing SELCORE relief work. Always love to see it when the majority of the site focuses on putting the war in Star Wars. He also was interviewed by Jysell Brumen about becoming Vice Chancellor as well as other topical issues.

In the realm of private threads, he had a very interesting one with Ran Serys exploring a more dark and ruthless side of his character:

He hoped she wouldn't look past him, into that room. It wasn't pretty. If he hadn't been so outnumbered, he would've tried non-lethal takedowns. But with his back against the wall... he had to be ruthless.

And of course, I have a thread currently going with him as well which has been a ton of fun.

Question: How does your character typically dress, and why?

Nominating Balun Dashiell

Incredibly active writer. Love keeping track with their char’s story and development of a young persons self-discovery. I may not be bias as Balun is Nouqai’s bestie and very involved in her storyline. Very chivalrous but also a little reckless. Also he does incredible work for the new faction Tingel Arm Coalition.
