STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES

The Physical:

1) Give him the helm at your own risk.

2) El is specialized in stealth, infiltration, melee combat and tactics. Though he has some minor skill in engineering some devices he is certainly no master mechanic or high level technician but is decently skilled in the development of various types of gadgetry as well as the inner workings of most star ships types.

3) Skinshifting: With centuries frozen in carbonite and kept on display as an art peice, Elgyn has been affected by an extended and unusual form of hibernation sickness. he has seemingly lost, be it permenate or temporary, his ability to retain large amounts of mass without pain.



The Mental

0.1) Sometimes, he just doesn't shut up.

1) Elgyn can be dawinistic in his views. Believing that those who are unable to adapt do not necessarily deserve what they strive for. Having lived for such a long time in an immobile limbo he has endless patience and hopes to see those who cannot adapt succeed in the time they are given.

2) Mental Flux-Elgyn is prone to moments of strange, disturbing or violent thoughts. If he acts on them is another matter.

3) Insecurity: Elgyn despised his natural form. Having been around humans for the majority of his life, Elgyn deeply prefers his human form only reverting to his alien self when he has no other choice. He views his natural self as ugly and monstrous.

Lithe but oddly heavy, Elgyn's form can vary but normally takes the appearance of a human male in his mid to late twenties. His clothing, like his appearance, can vary. (Normally linked in a starting thread)




BIOGRAPHY:

Elgyn was the product of a mad man.

Designed and engineered by an insane Sith calling himself the Great Divine to be his weapon in a crusade against all Force-users, both Jedi and Sith alike, in the name of some obscure deity whom only the Great Divine witnessed. Elgyn’s first memories were waking up in a bacta tank, with no recollection of who he was or how he got there, fully grown (and quite possibly artificially aged). He broke out of the tank and the pod in which he was being held, escaping into a ship and slaughtering any who got in his way with his bare hands. He had no experiences or memories, only mental programming which was only half-successful. He had emotions, but no memories.

Some time after his escape, he [joined a pirate] fleet as the ship’s cook on one of the flagships. There he began to become… more. Through his adventures with the pirates, experiencing the world with fresh eyes, he grew. Meeting Arumi Zy among the fringe elements of the galaxy, Elgyn was eventually adopted into a clan of the nigh-extinct Mandalorian. Though he didn't necessarily see himself as Mandalorian, he did come to regard them as family and grew to respect their culture and customs (though he continues to butcher the language anytime he tries to speak it).

After some time, the Great Divine returned, leading an army called the Divine Order. He began his scourge of the galaxy—converting those who would follow, killing any who tried to oppose them. The presence of the Great Divine had an effect on Elgyn, activating his genetic memory engrams and awakening a pre-programmed personality which overtook him. Elgyn became a spectator in his own body—knowing what he was doing but powerless to stop it. He threw his signature cowl at Arumi’s feet and was made Lord Marshal of the Divine Order’s military and right hand to the Divine.

During a climactic battle on Bothawui, in the room of the tallest tower of the Divine’s fortress, the Divine was seemingly killed in a massive explosion. Elgyn barely managed to escape, though his body was pulverized to the point which he lapsed into a hibernation trance. With the Divine’s presence dissipated and the influence lifted, the crimes he’d committed against the Mandalorians and the people whom he had called friends—family—weighed on Elgyn, and he desperately went in search of redemption.

Soon after, he stumbled upon a mute though incredibly gifted mechanic named Zirk’a (and her astromech droid ‘translator’ Sixx), and after a particularly taxing mission in the Fringes, she joined him on his ship. Sometime later, after a few smuggling jobs and minor catastrophes, Elgyn found himself coming face-to-face with his past once again.

A strange Shi’ido approached him—a Sith warlock, obsessed with Elgyn and bordering on insane—by the name of Suul. Literally. He simply appeared, taking Zirk’a hostage and disappearing on his ship, leaving it up to Elgyn and Sixx to rescue her—but not before Suul could leave his mark on the hapless girl and entrap Elgyn in carbonite.

Preserved but still conscious Elgyn was sealed in a place he could not identify. Blind and deaf, over the course of thirteen years he began to revert back to his old shadow. With no sensory input for over a hundred years he redirected his mind outward with the Force and his mind became a deviant black thing. His mind twisted as he watched those he knew though the force in his frozen prison. Through the course of a thousand years he was shipped around as an art piece, thought to be an original from a line of carbonite carved body art. He would telekinetically interact with the world around him: his body preserved and his mind open through the Force. Sometimes he would haunt his owners through tricks and even small fires. Though eventually his envy and lust for flesh and emotional contact began to dawn on him. With gritted teeth he traveled for centuries eventually gaining the unintended title of "The Pale One" with a reputation of being violently haunted, Elgyn was sold to a high end museum on Courascant. Elgyn does not know who released him., most likely he would kill them later. But as he awoke and his stasis sickness wore away he kept only A flood of memories echoed in his mind. His heart echoed in the Force when he awoke. There was a girl, hair of red and a smile that brought serenity. A mandalorian who brought rage and a sith who gave brotherhood. But he still understood that centuries had passed. They had to be dead.


Elgyn was alone.

The following is a ship that was accepted and submitted when I first came to the board.

Please note that while this is a submission I am using this post as storage for when the Factory re-opens. I am quite happy I dug it up. I learended to save Rp and other files FOR WHEN BOARDS CRASH a long time ago ;)

Intent: This Vessel is to act as home and transportation for Elgyn (And by Proxy: Zirka). It is built for speed and is lightly armored so mainly relies on shields, speed and maneuverability for defense. The manufacture’s intent on the ship is to provide a swift way out of a planetary blockade and , if so needed or proposed: provide a minor form of support fire if requested. It is best used as a military or diplomatic escort Development Thread: Ask if you want. Though I intend on it being El's ship, I wont mind a development thread at all. Manufacturer: Mon Calamari Shipyards Model: Jaeger-Class Ultralight Corvette(I don't know how to really class it, but this seem kinda cool, lol. Open to suggestions) Affiliation: Omega Protectorate Modularity: minor: the reactor can handle heavier and stronger weapons. This will take a toll on the ship’s generators lessening shield or engine output. Production: Unique Material: Durasteel. Exterior armor plating and shells include duranium lining at 6.9 inches coating a 10.1 inch thick plate of durasteel. Description: An unusual but gracfully designed ship from the Mon Cal. Ship Yards. The jaeger-class ultraligh was designed with one combat tactic in mind: run and retaliate. The ship design was build for speed. Pumping three engine cluster featuring five ion subligh thrusts. These thrusters are capable of propelling the ship at sppeds matching those of large starfigters. The disgin was eventually incorporated intoa different tactics. One of planetary defense. The idea to mauver and escape the yoke of a blockade and provide cover fire as well as flanking to help break up the blockaide. The vvarable applications for it’s function never saw mass production. The ship it’sef is build for speed, feeding the five ion drives with a powerful reactor. At the same time the ship’s shield generators provide it with protection from fire as it prepares to enter hyperspace. However, if the ship enters combat it can create a deciving assult. Like the x-wing, Starviper and other ships of smaller size; the Jaeger class features two extendable foils. These foils are capabale of locking into an attack position that allows the ship to become a moderately armed combat platform. This makes it an acclent patrol craft or perfect fire support for a squadron of starfigters. The main finction of the the fiols is to create a widespread of fire where the once wasn’t any. When it extends the foil ion engines are disabled reducing speed dramatically put revealing four autoblaster cannons and a pair of quad laser cannons. To lock into this attack positon (or to land for that matter) it take aproxamatly 38 .7 second to lock into it’s attack position. This leaves the vessel relying on it’s shield for defense until it can produce it’s weapons. In order for it to achev speed once more it must retract these foils to connect the iondrive once more. Though it capable of entering hyperspace with damage to the foil: it must still retract them to drop into it. The ship features three flat retractable blisters. One housing an exterior observation deck that deploy's an atmospheric shield bubble when the blister's bulkhead is retracted. If this blister has been retracted during combat any people who are currently on the deck become easy targets to weapons fire and can cause severe internal damage to the focal sensors and communication array. Leaving the ship blind with only passive sensors and only subspace transceivers for communication. This deck is accessible through the bridge and main crew quarters.

ship was built with no escape pod. To make up for this, the second blister houses a minor hanger capable of keeping a small vessel. The limitation is no more then ten meters in length, leaving room for few escapees. The third and final blister is located at the base of the tail tier. Though only retractable during maintenance, it houses the ships main shield generator. This was complemented by a series of miniaturized shield generators as featured in the MC-24a light shuttle. However these shields have only half the capacity as the main tier generator when running in tangent. The ship features a number of engineering crawlspaces. Most are magnetically locked to ensure no one can tinker around with the ship’s vitals. A lockout included, sometime, the captain himself. The forepart of the foil teirs house the ships’s internal torbido tubes that are fired from the cockpit. However it’s speed is cut down to ?4-6?. In this position lock, it also loses maneuverability specifically in an atmosphere.

Featured areas and rooms:

Bridge; This area in the fore front of the ships head is reinforced with and extra bulhead and features a blastdoor. The bridge houses a center pilot’s nest with a holographic display and room for two co-pilots. To the sides are the sensory and comunicationsstations and the navicom that can be all used by the pilot or co-pilots to some extent. Fuzzy dice and licorice dispensers included. Crew suites: These three rooms are located below the main shield blister. Two are the designated chambers of Elgyn and Zirka. Zirka’s room features a special hidden maintence hatch that can be used for hiding or entering one of the above mentioned crawlspaces. Each room is fitted to it’s owner’s liking. Observation deck: When the foremost blister is retracetd, an enviormental shield is projected around this oval area. On it a person can experience the beauty of space without the feeling of “inside.

Crawlspaces; nine in all. The crawlspaces provide and interconnecting, albeit cramped, acess to the innerworks of the ship. Droid bay: this small, short room designed for an astromech unit features a number of small shevilse and a single oil bath dip. It is cluttered with trinkets and small tolls for the ships local astromech Droid and Zirka’s companion, Sixx.

Main cargo hold The main entrance ramp leads to the main cargo hold. With a hover skiff and a pair of speederbikes anchored to the deck. This cargobay holds many containers and storage units. The upper hold has been modified into a makeshift training and entertainment area. It is connected to the observation deck, cockpit and the covied sickbay. Sickbay: A small covey room connected to the upper and lower cargo holds hold a single bacta tank and a medical bed and diagnostic terminal. Staffed by a single <> droid. Lounge: a sunken floor and this kitten is killing me anyways. A sunken, padded floor with a hologlobe hangin firm from the ceiling. This room connects directly to the medical alcove.

Airlock: Though sometimes called the brig by Elgyn. It is directly connected to the Main hold which has a sercurity locker next to the inner airlock doorss that hold a number of spac-vac suits and other items.

Aside from Sixx, the other droids in the ship are programmed with specific tasks or only active when preforming their duties. They include: JE-vZ a reluctant and boorish protocol droid. Dummy, a heavy loading droid. It also features a small squad (3) security droids theat were in bad need of repair or replacement. Classification: Ultralight Corvette...Blockade runner? As a baseline comparison, Y-Wings could carry 8 torpedoes or 20 proton bombs. X-wings carried up to 6 proton torpedoes) 2 dual light laser cannons (Fire linked,forward defense 2 torpido tubes Payload: 6 each 1 aft minelayer, payload: 12 Foil housing: 2 quad lasercannons: 4 autoblasters Non Spacial Systems 3 dropdown permeiater defense blasrers. (Fed by autoblaser well, guided by droif brain or remote in cockpit) “Drop down” only viable when langing legs are deployed.
