The Chase Life Explorer Jacket is a rugged jacket designed for spacers and other elements that may require protections such as bantha ranchers or nerf herders. The jacket is made of distressed brown bantha leather giving it it's worn and used appearance without weakening the leathers structure. Two patch pockets located on the front of the jacket are capable of carrying small loads such as tickets or stylist pens. The left breast has loops capable of holding a variety of equipment from code cylinders to security spikes or even ammunition for a variety of weapons. At the right side is a vertical sealed waist pocket designed to hold a datapad device or small holdout blaster. Internally there is two deep angled pockets pockets for concealed devices or weapons.
In addition to possessing a roguish charm the jacket provides basic protections for its wearer. Under the leather and between the lining is a layer of deflex material capable of stopping intense kinetic blows from a nerf hoof, falling debris, or even a slughtrowing weapon. The leather has been fully treated giving it resistances to extreme cold and even resistance to fire. With a magnetic clasps the jacket is able to keep someone warm in most cold conditions keeping them bundled up while the soft internal lining keeps the wearer cool and dry in warmer conditions or when active.
