CORPORATION INFORMATION
Chase Technology was created as a partner company of Chase Fashion, with the intent of producing high tech components used in various fashion accessories in an attempt to control more aspects of production and keep costs down. The company itself has its main offices on Zeltros with secondary manufacturing located on both Liannna and Fondor. Originally a small company designing components rather than full products the company flourished with its sister company and continued to expand its remit.
During development of the various systems the company designed they attracted some designers, inventors, and tinkerers. When products launched the design teams were often left with little to do. In order to create more work for these design teams the company decided to enhance its own mandate shifting their mandate to include small pleasure craft. With so many companies focused purely on military contracts the company decided to instead focus on pleasure activities.
Gaining the license for several outdated speeder models the company began to redesign the craft into a luxury vehicle. Tweaking the engines and modifying the internals with the latest in technology proved to be a challenge on the otherwise antiquated designs but provided for valuable experience in the engineering process. The speeder was moderately successful at least earning a profit for the company. Bolstered by their success the team decided that their next project would be more ambitious. They build their newest luxury speeder from the ground up with mixed results. Although visually appealing and often functional the final product had mechanical issues and was prone to break down necessitating repairs that involved often times expensive replacement parts.
Determined to never allow this to happen again Chase retooled their factories and began to produce the majority of components in house instead of subcontracting. While raising the price the company was able to negate many of the mechanical failings of their design and continued streamlining until they were ready for the next project. The next project came swiftly creating what would be the first true line of luxury speeders. As the company expanded so to did their purview creating small luxury and leisure craft culminating in the design for several pleasure yachts in what was once more seen as an ambitious leap.
Even though the company has expanded beyond its original purpose it still serves in that capacity providing technical components and know how to the wider Chase Enterprises.
