Chasing A Legend

The galaxy was a large place.

Even on planets that had been explored, colonized, and thoroughly brought into what most people considered “civilization” there were still mysteries to be found. Hundreds of billions of different species still remained undiscovered in the galaxy, and hundreds of thousands of species already discovered were thought to have died out, or had been forgotten over the eons since they had last been seen.

One of these creatures, one of these legendary titanic animals was the Titavian. It was a creature that had not been spoken of, or even heard of for centuries, not since the Gulag Plague had rolled over Naboo and brought it to its knees.

Aela Talith knew of it because of a trip she had taken almost ten years ago now, a trip that had ended badly, but one that still held precious memories. Her and her father had visited Naboo on that trip, they had seen Theed and the plains, they had visited old ruins and knew titanic structures, but her favorite activity had always been meeting the Gungans. The odd folk who told her tails of Sando Aqua Monsters and visits to the deep core.

It had been they who had told her of the Titavian.

She wrapped the odd bandages around her arm, the black leather cords tightening around her fist as she tied them in place just below her elbow. She slipped a small blade between the leather and her skin, checking the rest of her things before slowly standing up. Aela was dressed in the fashion of a Beast Rider of Onderon, Drexl leather and her hair tied into a tight braid reminiscent of one that her Oma Quietus had always adorned her head with.

The young woman smiled slightly as she caught a reflection of herself in the mirror.

Slinging her small rucksack over her back Aela ventured from her cabin and out of her ship, The Rising Tide.

It was time to tame a legend, if only for a few minutes.
