While I am just linking myself to the faction, I can tell you how you can go about starting your character out in the One Sith. Start out in the General Discussion thread, and post that you're looking to begin training (if that is your goal). You should receive a few people to train your Acolyte at that point. Then you'll start a training thread or two in the Sith Academy portion.
Also, while that is going on, you can join in on some of the Dominions/Invasions that will no doubt be posted shortly in the coming weeks to put planets under the rule of the One Sith. Happy hunting.
