The Chernamila (named after the species of the same name) is a bio/technological star destroyer engineered by the Shi'ido. These types of ships have been in use for decades, and are revered for their reliability and sturdiness. Older models are known for one significant issue related to the particular strain of nenuphar used in the interior of the vessel, which are said to have an expiration date of approximately thirty-five years. The best possible solution to this problem is to have the nenuphar tissues replaced with fresh ones, which has become common practice among the Shi'ido.
With the conquest of Lao-mon and the ongoing genocide against the Shi'ido, the Chernamila and other technology produced by the shapeshifters is becoming harder to find. Those seeking to preserve their culture, as well as those attracted to the collectible and novelty aspects of such craft, have been purchasing and procuring the few remaining vessels.
