Children of the Dark Side

Sitting in meditation form alone in his dormitory at his master's Academy on Glee Anselm, Mullarus lifted the pieces of the lightsaber before him. His held hung low ans his eyes closed, the pieces bounced off of one another in the air as he struggled to hold onto them.

To get them to obey, I have to put them on a leash, it seems...

He took a deep breath, feeling every single scar on his body as he tuned himself to the flowing of the Dark Side in the Academy. I call upon the darkness...

Try harder!

Mullarus tensed up, feeling the strange lightsaber crystal he got from Ilum begin to...'speak' again. It was not something he could hear, something he could...feel. It was difficult to explain.

Put me in!

It used to be a voice of wisdom, but overtime, it's become more of a voice of insanity and confusion, as if it begged and pleaded to be put in a lightsaber. It has been acting like this for days after [member="Darth Pyrrhus"] instructed him on the basics of lightsaber technology so that he could build one himself.

C'mon! C'mon! Put me in!!

Mullarus paced himself. He had to focus, but his crystal with a mind of it's own, it seems, was making it hard.

Hurrryyyyyyyy!

He had to silence it.

DO ITTTTTT

Mullarus let the pieces of his lightsaber he gathered fall to the bed in front of him except for the emerald green lightsaber crystal, which he held before himself with the Force. He opened his eyes and spoke back to it for the first time.

"Look here, you. I am the one who released you from your prison on Ilum. I took you with me, and you have witnessed me grow as an acolyte. You have had more freedom than many Sith Acolytes, and you are supposed to be an inanimate object. If you are sentient, you will learn to obey me. I am your master. You are not Sith, you do not follow it's code, you follow me. Understand? Continue to act like this, and i'll fetch a synthetic crystal that says nothing when I try to use it!"

As Mullarus cracked the whip down on his pet crystal, it fell silent. As the young man brought the lightsaber pieces back up, it politely said:

Thank you

Mullarus closed his eyes once more and hung his head. The Dark Side flowed through him as the pieces of the lightsaber fell into place and stuck with hisses and clicks. As the crystal found it's place inside of it's matrix, it seemed to sigh with relief, like a man sitting upon a couch after walking a dozen miles.

Now, my little green friend, you can rest. But your real work starts now.

I look forward to it, Master

Completed, Mullarus lowered the lightsaber into his hands.

He stood up and ignited it. A dark, emerald green emerged from the lightsaber, making a satisfying *hisssss*.

He smiled and nodded, proud of his work. "With this, I will bring the Republic to it's knees and make way for my ascension."
