DESCRIPTION
Designed by Hexus Dominus following an agreement with Scylla AI to salvage the wreckage left behind by the Battle of Tython, the Chimera Salvage Ship acts as a carrion feeder for the Contingent. The ship’s underbelly is covered in hundreds of salvage tools to allow it to cut apart derelict ships and structures, converting destroyed enemies into more material for repair and expansion of Contingent elements.
The ship's massive cargo capacity allows it to carry around several hundred tons worth of materials at a time, which makes its operation a useful source of income for the Contingent. After a battle, dozens of Chimera ships may be seen roaming through debris fields, salvaging materials to be consumed by foundry ships to create yet more alumite war machines.
