Inferno.
An enigma in its own right is every dancing flame. Tooth and claw have gnashed for eons for the chance to rule a kingdom of ash; domineering will crashes with indomitable resolve, leaving nothing but devastation behind when the flames die.
Some bask in the shadows, reveling in the darkness and donning their cloaks of insidiousness.
Never the Chimera.
A product of shame birthed by vile consequence was he, created with eyes only meant to appreciate what others could not. Cursed, he was rumored to be, to burn everything he touched to ash. However long ago it was the mortal man became more, none can be sure, though rumor surrounding his appearance in various Sith campaigns across the galaxy cannot be ignored. Where he walks, ash follows, orchestrated into beautiful melodies the likes of which have never been seen.
Some history suggests he was once a man of importance, a leader, perhaps a patriarch.
Others say he was spawned by The Devil himself to serve as a faithful lieutenant- one meant to burn the galaxy in hellish flame to accommodate his Master.
But one cannot tame a flame- merely ignite it and stand aside.
Physically, Chimera looks mostly average amongst others on the occasions his features are exposed. The wear of his face suggests an age somewhere in the middle, this is further emphasized by the rare silver hair found flickering in his dark mane. Strangest of all, perhaps, are the dull, dead eyes in his sockets. Milky white, his irises are typically washed out of color and appear clouded, raising the question of blindness.
These opalite lenses ignite with brilliant, smoldering flames the instant his abilities are channeled and his will is manifested- bringing devastation and nothing more.
The pyrokinetic bathes in solemn silence, preferring to witness and listen, rather than speak. Ever laconic, one can be assured when he does feel the need to give a voice to his thoughts- it shall be with a purpose. He is not uncouth or undignified, though his objectivity often leads to an abrasiveness most may find particularly frustrating.
Chimera moves with calculated efforts, planning his actions meticulously and rarely straying from the path he has created for himself. Preferring independent work to group efforts, he will rarely be found with the greater pack of his equals and more often seeks to accomplish objectives on his own. While he prefers solitude, he is able to work cohesively as part of a team, even if reluctantly.
FORTITUDE
- Objective - Considering logic and factual truths above his own emotions and those of others, he is able to better make decisions. Hesitation is a stranger to him when it comes to tense moments.
- Seeker - He quests for the truth, uncovering mysteries, lies, deception, and gaining knowledge about himself, his history, and the universe in the process. Chimera is vastly knowledgable, though often reluctant to share it.
- Indomitable - Birth by fire had a way of making him strong and mastering it tempered his iron will into unbreakable steel.
- Assassin - Methodical in his actions and careful in his evaluations, he is able to very quickly dispatch foes and friends alike, ever-focused on vulnerabilities first.
- Ravenous - The more his flames feed, the hotter they burn.
- Shame - Those who may uncover his past through Sight or recorded means will have an advantage over him if this information is deployed.
- Hydrophobic - Water, even in small quantities, possesses the ability to pacify him against his wishes, leaving him more vulnerable and slower on his feet.
- Loner - Poor, choosy communication skills leave him without any close to him.
- Breath - Flames need oxygen to burn, however unnatural their source may be.
- Arms Reach - Being primarily a mid to close-range fighter, he's most vulnerable when engaged at a distance.
STYLE
Primarily, Chimera utilizes his pyrokinesis to a devastating degree, even going as far as igniting his fists to deliver cataclysmic physical blows to his opponents. He's a medium to close range combatant, easily weaving Force usage and powers into his martial arts to unleash bone-shattering combination strikes and overpower his opponents. He's rather fond of stealth and ambush tactics, wherein only ripples in The Force betray his presence until he springs to attack, bathing his prey in a tide of ravenous flame.
He will almost always single out lone opponents and ambush them, aiming to cull the ranks of those bold who stray too far from their respective herds.
