The Thunder Walkers are kaiju riders. (Don't know what a kaiju is? Think Godzilla or Pacific Rim.) Star Wars has plenty of them: Leviathans of Corbos, Lotek'k, Sando Aqua Monsters, Zillo Beasts (which I'm pretty sure are banned), Gorogs, and so forth. And that doesn't even scratch the surface of past and future Codex submissions.
