For him racing became a way of life and he would often find himself participating in illegal street race's or underground tournaments. Desmond quickly built a name for himself and his gang as racing kingpins. As a result his boss bought him a gift. A custom made Pod with enough curves to make a woman jealous. He painted it himself and he never went anywhere without it. Over time Desmond began adding modifications and upgrades too it. He enhanced the exhaust ports himself with metallic alloys said to clean out the emissions with increased capability. He modified the fuel intake on the engine so that the introduction of Isotope Five fuel would not completely burn up the cylinders. He welded the phrik plating onto the pod with the care of a loving father. He attached two forward mounting laser cannons on the dorsal fins and one autofiring laser cannon on the rear. Each weapon hidden by a neuranium compartment so that they might not be spotted. Finally he applied the black paint, so that his pod would look... Sexy.
