- Appearance: Ciara is slender but physically fit for a woman her age, she stands at 5'6" and weighing 130lbs. In Kiffar culture, a child inherits the facial tattoos of their mother and so, she and her twin brother share an X shaped qukuuf from their mother's clan. As a Guardian, whenever on duty she wears a Guardian uniform and when she isn't she wears casual clothing.

- Personality: Due to being raised as a prodigy amongst members of her clan, Ciara has developed somewhat of a superiority complex and overconfident nature because of it. Despite this though, she is still well-skilled, calm, patient and intelligent - a stark contrast to her brother's brashness and impatience. Although they have a troubled relationship, Ciara still loves her brother and resents him for abandoning her and their family.

Ciara was born on Kiffu in 841 ABY just eleven minutes before her twin brother Cas Tynen. The heir to a powerful clan on Kiffu, growing up her and her brother had a lot of expectations placed on them and while Cas buckled under the pressure, Ciara soared. Discovering her Psychometry at a young age, an inherited trait passed on throughout Clan Tynen, and coupled with her swift advancing in her classes and training to be a Guardian she was seen as a prodigy and a worthy heir to Clan Tynen. Ciara's treatment by the family and the subsequent disapproval of Cas and his lack of progress created a rift between the two, otherwise inseparable, siblings - despite their troubled relationship however, she still loved her brother deeply.
At the age of sixteen, one day Cas vanished without a trace with everyone assuming he ran away (which was the case) created problems for their clan and their image. As a result, even more pressure was placed on the young Tynen forcing her to resent her brother for abandoning her and leaving the responsibility of everything to her. Years would pass and the young woman would eventually come of age and become a member of the Kiffu Guardians, achieving what her parents and family had thrust upon her many years ago.
While she was otherwise happy with what she had accomplished in life, earning the respect of the clan and the approval of her parents - she couldn't help but wonder, if Cas was the one who was truly happy being out there in the galaxy, free from expectations and to choose his own path.
