Strengths: Customized- The Cinder Pistols are a set of four pistols that have been built from scratch. This means that they have been designed to fit the needs of John from what he needs in a pistol. These features include adjustable sights, regular and extended magazines, and a grappling hook launcher that can be attached to the bottom of the barrel. The last and most important feature though is the bio lock on the weapon. The pistols will not fire unless John is the one using them, making them useless to anyone else.
Weaknesses: Just Pistols- The Cinder Pistols might be customized completely, but they are still just pistols. They are not able to shoot any further than a regular pistol is able to. They also can only hold up to 12 rounds at most so their number of shots are limited compared to a weapon like an smg or a rifle.
Description: The Galaxy is a dangerous place with all kinds of threats out there. Pirates, cultists, ex-girlfriends. In light of all these threats to one's life, John decided he needed a weapon that would always be by his side. So he got all of the parts together and fashioned himself a set of pistols that only he could use thanks to a bio lock on the safety.
The Cinder Pistols are simple in their design. They feature a chamber that holds a single round that is fired by a hammer. When the trigger is pulled this hammer strikes the back of the cartridge and fires the bullet. The push back of the shot then caused the empty cartridge to be ejected from the pistol. A spring in the magazines then pushes the next round up into the empty chamber and the process is repeated. Most of the pistols are made out of durasteel with plastoid covering it. The grip is the only part that deviates from this as it contains electrical components that allow the bio lock to keep the trigger from working unless John is the one shooting it.
The pistols were designed to allow sights to be removed and adjusted above the barrel. The sights that fit on it can be either a basic iron sight, a red dot sight, or a laser sight. Below the barrel a grappling hook launcher can be attached, but it is unable to hold as much line as one on a rifle would. The last feature was the inclusion of both regular and extended magazines for the pistols.
