STRENGTHS

• Telepathic Frequency - Imbued with telepathic abilities via Sith Alchemy, the circlet(s) allow force user an limited use or enhancement of one's ability to communicate telepathically such that the user may communicate with others despite certain telepathic barriers while allowing the wearer to "deafen" themselves to a specific individual(s)'s use of telepathy by sensing their force signature or intent, affectively allowing the wearer to tune out telepathic messages as if changing the frequency of a radio or commlink.

WEAKNESSES

• Weak Material - Made from soft and malleable silver, the circlet(s) is susceptible to physical damage, melting at high temperatures or on contact with high powered energy weapons. Breaking the circlet itself would render the power within null and void, requiring re-enchantment through Sith alchemy and reforging.
• Force Nullification - Relying entirely on the force, these devices is subject failure and all the effects of force nullifying fields and abilities such as those possessed by the Yslamiri.

DESCRIPTION
The device was created by the sith apprentice Kaila shortly after befriending the Doppelganger known as Leven Jeyd, whose innate use of telepathy became hindered by Kaila's own alchemized mask which had been created specifically to shield herself from the mental powers of others. Seeking to accommodate her comrade's preferred method of communication without sacrificing her own defenses, she would create a set of circlets to act as a gateway to her proverbial fortress of the mind.

She did so by carefully imbuing silver with the power of telepathy in it's own right while also shackling it's power to the wearer's will and enhancing their own such that the combined and highly focused power could breach some mental barriers such as her cortosis mask. This could also be done in reverse to act as a sort of "magnet" and receiver to snatch incoming telepathic signals. This method provided a distinct feel within the force that was often unique to an individual and their intent, but could be "tuned out" at will by the wearer,

Strangely, some force sensitives might hear indistinct whispers emanating from the nearby circlets when not in use.
