- Force Imbued: When it was created, the circlet was imbued to protect the wearer from telepathic attacks, largely as a way of keeping the Queen from being mentally influenced by outside/nefarious forces.
- Blaster, Kinetic, Lightsaber Resistance: Because it's constructed of Ultrachrome, it has a very high resistance to blaster, kinetic, and lightsaber strikes.
- Telepathy Resistance: The Force imbuement applied in the construction of the circlet, Thought Shield, protects the wearer from most telepathic attacks.

Many years ago, the Echani created a circlet for their queen to wear. A crown was deemed too bulky and unlikely to remain on in the heat of battle. A circlet, situated mostly on the forehead and wrapping entirely around the head, was decided on. They didn't want it to be too heavy, so they left much of it open and used a lot of thin pieces of ultrachrome to craft it. In addition, they used the crystals from a moonstone to fit into it and add a luster unsurpassed without being blindingly eye-catching. By all rights it turned out perfectly and clearly represented the Queen of the Children of the Moon.
While Echani have a natural strength against mental attacks, it was determined that, in order to protect the Queen's that might not be as gifted at such, the circlet should be imbued with the a shield against intrusion by outside forces. Several Echani Force users imbued the circlet with the ability to defend against such, and the Circlet of the Echani Queen was fully born. It has passed from Queen to Queen in the Echani Command for thousands of years, and will continue to do so.
